I've seen a few polls taken from different sites, and I'm pretty surprised at how well the classes are distributed. I'd say for the most part it's pretty dead-even, with only the Witch Doctor trailing behind at times.

Might as well just throw my CE in the garbage, next you are going to tell me Max Payne 3 has a character called Max Payne who plays a huge role.

So my CE finally got dispatched. But to the wrong address! Can't even remember that I used my work address. I could have sworn I used my home address like I did with all my other orders.

Which sucks! Since Thursday and Friday I'm off of work. Thursday is also a national holiday so no post deliveries either! Which sucks even more!

With a bit of luck it gets delivered at work on Wednesday but otherwise no Diablo 3 for me untill next week :(. Otherwise I might call a colleague of mine to open my box and mail me my code. But not being able to open the box myself kinds of depresses me.

/rant.

Depends on how much you plan on playing the game. If you're just casual then I'd say Barb. High base survivability and decent damage. If you plan on sticking to it into Inferno I'd say Wizard. Learn the fear of being a squishy early and it should make you a better player in the long run.

The only other game I give a fuck about this year to buy and get this hyped about to get a super expensive limited edition is Halo 4.

Bleak year in my opinion. Hopefully E3 redeems it with more shit to be pumped about for 2012. :(

there was a separate installer... i went into my account at battle.net -> games -> diablo 3 and the installer was different

when i got the one off of the diablo 3 site, i ran into the same issue you had

OT has been updated with a note about installing and errors people may come across. I'll try and update further for things like the spoiler thread and when it's launched everywhere, but I'm currently 4 characters under the post limit, and I already had to start using link shorteners to get this latest update out.

There is a Blizzard post about this on the forums.

Similar to "An unexpected decryption error occurred", the error 108 can be caused by corrupted, damaged or incomplete installation files. This can often times be caused by closing the downloader early. Though the downloader may show 100%, please allow some time for it to fully complete.

You may be able to fix this by running the downloader and pointing it to the same saved location so that it may scan and download any missing files.

If the problem persists, let us know.

Granted, I realize OT1 won't be up much longer, but since I've got post #2, I can throw stuff down there if you want extra space.

The installation worked fine on my MBA but can't install on PC. Oo

I moved 'installer tome 3.mpqe' and 'installer tome 3.part' out of the setup folder and reran the installer downloader. I had to redownloaded about 3 Gigs of data but thankfully not the whole thing again. After that it installed fine but make sure you leave it when it reaches 100% as it takes a while for the program to convert the last .part into .mpqe.

Anyway I have it installed but for some reason I can't change the gameplay resolution.
