You guys must be new to blizzard games.. The exact issues occurred for the WoW launch + early expansions. Shit doesn't get fixed quickly.

Blizzard has had very smooth launches lately though. SC2, WotLK, and Cataclysm were all smooth launches. I was hoping D3 wouldn't break that tradition.

Not sure what's up and nobody answered my post on the tech support forums.

I downloaded a 30.something MB installer and when I run it, I keep getting error BLZPTS00007.

I get a pop-up box that says its updating files, but then it times out and I get this error. The support page said to wait a while and try again.. and if I still get it to restart the computer and run it again, and if that doesn't work, then uninstall Diablo 3 and install again.

Well.. I've tried all this about a dozen times, but there is nothing at all for me to uninstall concerning Diablo 3, because it won't even run the set-up properly.
