Fellow D3-gaffers I need your help. Did my first run on act 2 with my friend and lucky when the black bone arrow plan dropped and was wondering if I should sell the plan or if I should use it and sell the quivers instead?
Maybe we should have a separate price check thread. How do the mods feel about it?
That's not to say it would be this worthless place all the price checks are dumped, it would probably be quite useful.

On the whole, gear on RMAH are just really overpriced relative to the GAH, assuming an exchange rate of USD 2 to 3 per million gold.
Keep or sell? (price seems to be about 700k at EU AH)
Do note that I haven't learned flawless amethyst start yet.
Nobody uses it because people keep responding to price check requests in here though. Vicious cycle.
How could we answer this question for you? We don't know how wealthy you are in the game, don't know if you want it or not, etc. How can we answer it? You know the price (700k) and you know that you don't have it learned yet. So it's up to you to decide. Sorry if I sound like an ass.
I'm working on my WD atm. What I don't get is why pets have to be so terrible. I just got to Nightmare and they die really fast now. Like couldn't they scale the numbers just a little bit better. Its like they dont even try.
sell the plan
The nice thing about selling plans is that there's no real thinking needed in terms of what the value is.Just thought you guys knew more about this stuff, I haven't played diablo in about a month.
I have no idea if 700k is a good value, if it's a rare drop, or even if upgrading gems urself is worth the money etc.
But yeah guess ill just keep it then.
Hey. The other night I spent about 200k crafting and was able to make just enough progress to kill Rakaroth. I've made it to Diablo now in Hell. Just a matter of time before I can get to Inferno.
On an unrelated note, has anyone asked Blizzard for an "unidentify all" button? It's getting tiresome having to unid a full inv of yellows. You could do this in D2 with Cain. Makes no sense not to have it here, especially with how much more streamlined the game is compared to D2.
Man, I got so excited when I had a legendary drop on Izual only to find it was the staff plan.
Also, anyone have any idea why I might have lost my full stack of NV during the Diablo fight? I had ten minutes left on it. The guy in a party with me kept his just fine.
As a WD, my Gargantuan (Big Stinker) is doing really well in Inferno. I have Act 3 on farm and my garg is around 75% of the time (sometimes he dies when the cooldown is still up). He's a life saver with his AoE poison ticks that trigger LoH.
When's Blizz going to let me search for more than 3 stats so I can see what the hell this is worth?

You don't need to search for more than 3 for that particular item: Quick search tells me that if you look for STR/VIT/AS there are about 5-6 similar items, with prices between 1 and 4 million, no bids. Yours has armor and dex, which makes it more defense oriented and maybe a bit more valuable (Tho people don't seem to value armor as highly, even if it is very good).
If you search for DEX/VIT/AS and consider STR part of that armor (so 378 effective armor), you get about 2 pages of results with items with a bit of a wider range, but similar items priced between 1 and 4 million, and a couple of bids. Again, these items may not have the same stats, but people looking for DEX as a main feature are looking for a lot more than 80 (there are some ranging from 150-200 within the same price range) unless they absolutely want it for defensive purposes. The price and the extra attributes have to convince them this item is worth more, so you have to be aware how much items with ~300 armor are going for (which requires another search on your part).
It took me more time to write this up than to search for that stuff. It's really not that hard. If that was me I'd start high (initial bid 3.5 - buyout 6) and go lower from there if it doesn't sell. I'm guessing in the end you could get about 1.7-2 million tops for it.

Ahh yeah, crap. =/Skill change? I lost all mine last night cos i tailored my skills to suit a boss.
Plus, you can just sort by Armor, don't even need to waste a criteria for it.
Talking of NV, I lost mine last night while moving from act 3 to 4 properly (i.e. played through to the end of the act 3, beat Azmodan and followed the proper course through to act 4). This is all on a standard playthrough, on Hell difficulty.
Is that normal?
Yes. You lose all stacks when switching acts.
It's pretty hard to pinpoint what items that have more than 3 desirable affixes are worth due to the AH search restrictions though.
It's really not. Pick 3, sort by buyout, go down the list until you find one with the ones you want. If there's too many results, pick a different 3.
Do people think that somehow other people on this forum can tap into other peoples' brains and know how much they're willing to pay? All these price checks are is "Who would be willing to check the AH for me? I do t feel like doing it myself."
