So, is it posible to take 1-2 turns without a clutch? I dont know if I need to buy one to remain competitive. Using "o" button isn't that comfortable

Does this play like the other two rally racers on Xbone? WRC and the other one I can't remember the name of.
WRC is more arcade like, SLR is probably a bit closer to DR, I think the physics in SLR are actually pretty good, shame the rest of it is a bit pants.

what the hell why is this game £55 digitally on xbox one? it's only £40 in stores and that comes with the blu-ray documentry too.

It's not just Codies, so it's unfair to tar them specifically, it happens with every release, but if it bothers you, just buy it from another, cheaper, territory.

I know a lot of 3rd parties have high digital prices, but do they even try to work out a fair price or just say "ok." and be done with it?
I also refuse to add my card to XBL again so I can't do that other method unless I go looking for digtal credit codes for another region and faff about that way, which I dislike doing.
I'm not sure how it works, but I wonder if the storeholders insist on the product hitting the RRP, where as other stores don't have to adhere to the RRP.
As for codes, just get them from Amazon.
Where did you get it for 47?! I am on the fence with this one, I expect it to drop in price quickly...

Just checked it out now. The tutorial videos should be very useful for newcomers if it's included in the console version. If you are struggling watch them, especially the one one pacenotes.
Or you can shortshift and countersteer to correct the trajectory of the car. One can also push the brakes pedal a little bit to add weight to the front of the car to regain control.

I feel like the console launch is getting buried in the OT a bit. Really want Codies to get their sales up with this, it's just such a fucking phenomenal game.
A new thread for the entire product?,or separate thread for the console launch?
Not a fan of a separate thread for the console launch TBH, there is a lot of knowledge from PC players you'd potentially lose if you did that.

Well it's in the game but i wouldn't call it exactly drivable.
Seriously do not buy this car in-game unless you have some experience. I jumped from the cooper s to the stratos and it was a nightmare. It's really nice on tarmac but on the loose stuff that car is like riding a bull, it constantly wants to get away from you.

Just about to fire it up and give it a go. I won't be able to get my wheel set up the until tonight, which is a bummer so ill need to make do with my DS4 for this afternoon.
I won't buy it anytime soon. just crashed and bailed out of my first career event in the mini. rough start! ;p
I like the sentiment, but not sure how a new OT would make any impact, the same impact could be made by just renaming this existing OT saying the game is now complete.
If someone wanted to make a console OT, that's fine by me. As I said, I'll try and get this OT updated sometime tonight and if not, this week, so as to include the new stuff added in the console release. I'll also PM a mod to see if they can change the title for me to include console release.

Wouldn't want to split off the OTs, was just wondering if the launch trailer is thread worthy - as mentioned, this is the full games launch for all players.
Go for it then, as long as there is a decent amount of info in it, threads have been made for less......

I don't think that Mini is the perfect starting car (to learn how to drive in the game). The amount of understeer in that car... omg. I had to drastically change the recommended setup to make it better. Also it's so slow you're not learning much.
