Leak guy says Vergil states most of his epic lines as a boss from DMC3 in DmC.
Hopefully the lines about his Gucci belt and dub-step super.

II was being sarcasticI don't know if that would be ballsy or a cop out. Trying to link DmC to DMC just creates so much confusion and disarray.
In Vergil we trust.Let's hope the bosses are more interesting than DMC2 bosses.
Do we know how the checkpoints work in this game? Are they more lenient like modern games?
They're pretty much like Bayonetta's checkpoint system.

There, I said it.
I think you have your "idiot anti-fans" confused.
No Bloody Palace ;_;
While it does bother me, if it shows up as DLC, I'm never buying a CAPCOM game again.
I have never played DMC and have no knowledge of wtf the series is but I downloaded the demo for this which was pretty fuckin awesome.
Will the final game have the screen tearing though?
Yeah he said exactly that and it was in reference to someone asking about BP. It was pretty much assumed that BP would be in the game in some form but he never stated if it would be DLC or not.So Alex said before that the game would have a lot of the same expected extra content as seen in previous DMC's, if not for Bloody Palace - the fuck was he referring to? Unlockables, art, sounds, difficulties? Really? I always thought BP was a given since DMC3 Special Edition. How the fuck do you not have a "fuck up enemies all day for no reason" mode.
BP was one of the best things to come out of DMC2. It was so good that fans clamored for it in DMC3 which actually had a good combat system. They put it in DMC3SE and while it was fun/challenging it was very rough around the edges. Totally random encounters and you would usually get really fucked up combinations of enemies plus to be honest Dante could only use one set up and it was really troublesome having to deal with enemies that were counter to your style. They improved that a lot with DMC4 and they made it non-random so people could have a better metric of comparison plus they added a timer to prevent cheesing tactics. Is Bloody Palace that big a deal? Most DMC4 fans now spent more time in BP than actually playing the game. Yes it IS a big deal.
Honestly speaking the combat is the best thing about DmC as well. It's weird saying this about a NT game but it's the truth. Plus the game seems designed around large crowd controlling combat. It's a missed opportunity for them.
Also I would take all talk about completion times with a grain of salt. Mileage varies. I know one guy who put in 50 hours first time trying to beat DMC3.
So Cerberus over and over and over and over again i'm guessing....
I prefer PS3 for action games but unless they add AA and fix the framerate, it's a piece of shit. Definitely go 360.
A fresh spoiler, only posting it because it's the one most in line with what I think will happen.
Hey there, pal. Keep in mind that I got this from a user who beat the game.
Well, as a pro, i'm disappointed due the lack of major explanations. The game's problem that the ending is rushed and the game simply ends and that's about it.
As soon as Mundus is defeated, Vergil claims that it's their time to rule. Dante gets angry, Vergil says "stand aside", boss fight and then ending. basically, Vergil's downfall should maybe continue the something of the story. Also, Lilith dies ( though the person was a little vague on that, I assume she gets killed by Vergil, during the trade mission).
Mundus battle is also a little lackluster, though I want to see it onscreen. If you play DMC 2, you'll remember that boss building called Nefasturris. So, Mundus basically is a blob that fuses with parts of the Demon Tower and other buildings.
Also, if you watched the introduction scene, you'll notice a small window ( don't know how to describe) showing a red stuff or something like that. Well, that's the hellgate.
Very cut and dry. Very simple. Very predictable.
NT truly delivered in a story that far surpasses the past games....

No but seriously Capcom really should of done some research. NT always outsourced their writing and they only really shine in their motion capture tech which tbh doesn't look all that impressive in DmC. NT's talent is definitely not seen in this game and at the end we didn't get a different and unique DMC game as promised but a Lite DMC entry. Shame really. I actually regret being down on the original TGS 2010 trailer. If they went through with that at least it would of been a departure for the series![]()
I think DmC is a lower budget affair than NT was used to. The production values seen in HS and Enslaved don't seem to be there.
Compared to Heavenly Sword's the mocap animation in DmC seems rudimentary.

What talent we are talking exactly? Honestly, I think gameplay wise NT hasn't showed great talent in the past; maybe just in the art design (Enslaved, Heavenly Sword), but I don't remember anything more about its games.
