Also, guess who this is:

Kung-Fu action Rory

MMmmm..much hotter than Amy imo, lol. Speaking of which, did Amy and Rory ever dress up for their time traveling? I can't really remember.
I don't think Amy ever did. Rory was the centurion a few times if that counts.

No idea why you would think they are episode plots. The gun has been around since January, BBC are very secretive about plots, don't see why they would show something like that months before filming even started.

Character Options is just making up toys and stories to go with them to sell merchandising as just about every toy range has ever done. They're similar to this sonic set from last year:

The gun and screwdriver have been around since january yes but its not uncommon for toys to leak things. It happens across alot of media and often. Toys have a long development process it's not uncommon for them to be dev'd months ahead of release and its also not uncommon that they get showed off either.

The Build a sonic set had no lore or story behind it. These do and that if nothing else is an important point because as far as I know they have never made original items exclusive to the toy range (with the exception of that build a sonic set) and they have never had lore behind them.

The plot explained in both those is fairly elaborate for something made exclusively for the Toy range.

The likelyhood that these a fabricated (with such elaborate designs and story) only for the toy range is much smaller than the likelyhood that like virtually every toy character options has made they are part of future episodes.

They dressed up in Vampires of Venice, plus, you know, the whole Roman Centurion thing. But is Jenna dressed up, or is she actually from Victorian London? That fact that she wears two different dresses between the pics and the video suggests that she's from there. And a modern series companion who isn't from present-day Britain? Awesome.

With a few Victorian era episodes looking like they are coming it kind of makes sense.

If the toy's do actually leak episode info i think thats at least 3 different episodes in Victorian london.

Awesome OP btw!

Oh and news! The BBC has put preliminary scheduling out with Doctor Who returning Saturday 1st September at 7:20PM.

Theres a lot of eyebrows over that BBC America promo, either way its a bit of a phantom, I wouldn't read too much into it. Hopefully theres same day airing, I love the steady flow of discussion :)

Plus I think its important for the show in the states. The fact that theres a New York screening again makes me think it'll be on the 1st there too :)

But Sept. 1 is the Labor Day weekend, and BBCA might delay it a week feeling they would have a better shot at more eyeballs on a non-holiday weekend.

Radio times has a TBA slot for that time on BBC1 Id say Sep 1st is very likely the air day.

US might be a week behind with Labour Day Weekend

Yeah, Radio Times has the traditional cover and episode guide next week, so it seems rather likely to be next week.

I'm told BBCA will have a double bill on the 8th to catch up.

So I've been watching a few Doctor Who Confidentials in hype for the new episodes and...does anyone else feel bad for Arthur Darvill?

I mean, it seems like he's always the third wheel in the trio of Karen and Matt, which is to be expected, but I kinda feel bad when he's talking with Karen or hanging with her and he's all cool and collected and then BAM, Matt Smith comes in all charismatic and whatnot and steals the thunder lol

He'll be able to go on acting and not be typecast for the rest of his career, good luck to Matt Smith in that regard. Also, he's the Moffatt-era Mickey.

Pretty hyped for the next season. I've enjoyed most Doctor Who episodes. Going to enjoy seeing how the Ponds are sent off and how it affects The Doctor. Bring on the Who, brah.

I guess. But what I mean is I don't feel bad for him as an actor, because he's already a badass on the show and seems like he's got a great career ahead of him, but in real life the phenomenal chemistry between Karen and Matt make me feel bad for poor little Arthur Darvill. :(

I get the feeling that the three of them work well together, rather than Matt and Karen leaving Arthur in the shade. I certainly don't think Arthur needs feeling sorry for.

Yeah, this is how I see it. When Alex is there too the team comes alive. Arthur Darvill brings a lot as a companion, it'll be sad to see him go. I never get the feeling he feels 'in the shade' tbh.

Hmm. I've noticed Space in Canada has a "TBA" listed between 9-10 on Saturday September 1st. I wonder if they will air before the US.

September 1st 7:20pm - 8:10pm, BBC1

Interestingly brave move: That clashes (for the final ten minutes) with The X-Factor. I wonder if ITV will shift it to start at 8:10 to compensate.

The bulk of the show clashes with Red or Black, but having seen the ratings for that this weekend, I don't think the good Doctor has much to fear from that.
