Since I'm waiting for new PC parts and the RTX patch, does slayer ever get to the source of the transmission broadcasting the plea for help? Would feel a bit pointless and just for "show" otherwise.

She's 100% ded like everyone else in the transmission, that cutscene was full on rule of cool lol

I actually prefer me3’s intro of escaping the planet during the invasion, the loss and sombering music really set the mood that this is the end of times...

and then the ending happened and ruined everything.

If I'm being honest Halo 5 had a way better opening and that isn't even the best opening in a Halo game, so take that as you will
