About 10-15 million less than Odyssey is my guess. The game looks phenomenal, has broad appeal, and is dropping early in the Switch 2's lifecycle. Gonna be evergreen as FUCK.

Now that Nintendo shut down those Switch rom sites, this will sell 100+ million, easily.

Mario is probably a stronger IP than Donkey Kong. I would say 10 million, depending on how well the Switch 2 continues to sell.

And 10 million for a Donkey Kong game is already pretty bananas.

I voted 10 -15 million, but after taking a second look at the sales of some Switch 1 games, I think 15 - 20 million might be more accurate.

Luigi's Mansion 3 has sold almost 15 million and Bananza probably appeals to a broader audience and has the advantage of being a launch year title.

I don't think it's going to be in the same ballpark as Super Mario Odyssey (29 million), because the Mario IP is still much more powerful than Donkey Kong, and DKB will probably have to compete with a true 3D Mario title relatively early in its life, but it might get close to 20 million.

I don't understand it, but the DK brand has some staying power and Nintendo is determined to make it big. Look at the Super Mario Bros Movie and their theme park. They want to diversify and avoid the abundance of Mario, but they don't want to start from nothing on a brand new IP when they have DK already.

I think between the good press this game gets from being a 3D Mario team game plus the existing brand recognition and placement as first tentpole title during the Switch 2 launch period, it will sell around 20 million when all is said and done.

10-15. Most switch 2 users will buy it to make use of their new hardware. Game looks and reviewed amazing.

It'll be the best selling DK game ever for sure.

Im going 20 to 25. This isn't Mario. Could be anywhere from 15 to 30 mill.

Ill say one thing. This won't be like the sequelitus we have seen from other studios. This will be the best selling donkey kong game of all time. I can guarantee that.
