Is the Sam Goody DOOM CE different from the Gamestop one? I already have $10 down on the Gamestop CE, so it'd suck if this one is better.

Mmm.. the CE content is the same, but the tin might be exclusive to Gamestop (like the RE4 tin). But EB has it listed as a tin, so I'm thinking it's the same. It definitely won't come with the poster and Baron of Hell figure that Gamestop has.

Dusting off this thread to ask if anyone else's Doom 3 CE has shipped from Sam Goody. I got an email from them today saying they're out of stock. I knew they'd fuck things up a bit and be at least a week late, but it's still worth it when I saved $16 compared to anyone else's price. I just hope it isn't more than a week late.

Yeah, mine did too. I forgot there was also free shipping with this deal. $44 total for Doom CE, the same would've cost me nearly $70 at EB or Gamestop after shipping and tax. Three cheers for Heavy Liquid!

EDIT: Doom 3 is back up to $59.99, but the $10 off orders of $50 or more coupon code seems to still work. So it can be applied to Doom or anything else for that matter.
