Was it Archie?
Efficient usage of space, it has both a husbando and waifu!
Alt + the original button for the ability.
Resized it in quotes before someone cries about huge image.
so when are we gonna play together ya jerk?
Build Agh. on Invoker before Sheep, really need it to play the hero properly.
Also love how I keep getting put on some awful teams, went from +18 W/L to +6![]()
It's not a requirement by any means, but it does help immensely.

Generally it's like Phase, Drum, Forcestick/Euls, Agh, Sheep, and then just save for buyback.
Dota2 crashes, everyone has no idea what's wrong, with Mumble you can say it was just the game and if they disappear from the list their PC probably crashed/connection issue. It also sounds much better and allows for stuff like priority speaker.I can see it helping setup games, I don't see how it does anything you need that the built-in voice doesn't once you're actually in a match.

Does anyone think Ursa is OP? I admit, he is a little tough to drop down, and you can die in a matter of a few seconds if you're not careful.
Had an Axe try to tank me in all the teammfights right now and he called Ursa OP and we just laughed a bit. Funny thing is that they weren't really focusing me down and Axe had to pay the price.
Edit: Also thanks to all the people in the prior page with advice (didn't get back to it until now).
Last game I ran:
Boots -> Treads, Sages Mask (I was still having problems with Mana due to agressive pushes and Silence, but only early on), Butterfly, Morbid Mask
Went something like 12/7/10 (deaths almost all early-game), and made the winning 2-man push with a SK. Although I feel like I still feel like my attack speed was higher with the items previously mentioned, the ones used definitely gave me more survivability late game even up against Night Stalker/AM.
I'll keep messing around, want to try out BKB mixed in the next few games.
If you get a sage mask, you can upgrade it to ring of aquila, which is nice on agi heroes early game.
I'd say that manta is a must have item on drow
+26 Agility
+10 Strength
+10 Intelligence
+15 attack speed
+10% movement speed
Mirror Image (active)
So nice stats and the mirror image is amazing on her since the illus do damage based on your agility (which you will have a lot of with your ulti)
I have work soon, but I'll try that next time.
So something along the lines of a: Treads and Ring early game, Manta mid game, and BKB? Or is BKB something I'm looking for more if I'm having trouble staying alive?

Also should I max Trueshot Aura right away? Or can I pump stats while I'm getting towards my max ULT? Then finish off the Aura? I saw its maxed out 38% damage, but its only ranged allies, not all. I guess it depends on whether we have multiple ranged heroes on our team?

I usually go 3 aura, one frost arrow, one silence, ult, aura, then max out frost arrow. Only time I might do more silence than frost is when I am up against invisible heroes.
Then for items go Treads first, Shadow Blade second, manta, and butterfly. If you want life steal, do helm of the dominator before manta.
Edit: Also big shout out to Rinku and carrying me through all our odd games! Dude seriously knows his Dota and I felt bad for the enemy team when he was Sven. At one point we were at top run spot, and out of nowhere it's he and I vs Pudge, Bloodseeker, Razor, and drow I believe. Just an Invoker and Sven vs 4 and I tried my best to do whatever I can, I take one down, and he proceeds to punish them with ease.
is playing with bots using an older version of this game?
I was using Juggernaut in bots play and his ulti was only 3/5/8 jumps. Didn't seem like I was doing that much as well.
I remember playing with other real players that it displayed 3/6/9.
BKB is something you get when the other team has a lot of crowd-control spells (and they aren't Pudge or Enigma or Void, all of which have CC that goes through BKB), and they're doing a lot of magic damage, and they're focusing on you.
I have a bunch of newbie questions for the more experienced players:
- Whose responsibility is it to buy courier and to ward? Do these always have to be bought at beginning of game? Also, what are standard places to ward?
- What's the best way to lane vs invisibility hero? Do u need dust or wards as soon as possible? And what are good places to put sentry wards? Also, do towers reveal invisible heroes?
- Why do I often have money left after I've died? I thought Dota differed from LoL in that you lose your moneyz once you die?
- Which heroes need bottles? Are they necessary for intelligence heroes?
- As far as jungling goes, is there a certain order to go through the difference camps? I sometimes end up trying to kill neutral creeps that are too powerful. What's a quick way to tell you're able to kill 'em?
You can choose two versions when making the game. It's one of the options tournament or latest. tournament is before the update i believe.
How does that have to do with In House communicationIt would help if you guys actually used the Dota 2 room, and didn't just stay in Random HoN rooms.
How does that have to do with In House communication![]()
First of all Shadowblade is a pretty trashy item
Manta Style is awesome for Drow, it pumps up her damage and her attack speed even higher (remember that you're also bumping up agi because of the ult). Shadow Blade second should be a situational consideration, especially because a Yasha is cheaper, offers more attack speed (31% versus 10%), is only beat in terms of damage (and even then, only by 22), and provides a 10% movement buff. Also, don't assume your opponents will be morons who won't buy dust or sentries, it's generally better to rely on your own strength and positioning and not ineptitude on the part of your enemies. Though it should be noted that you can wipe dust with a Manta Style, so a Shadow Blade following that would have much improved utility. Also, don't forget to use the Shadow Blade offensively, you get 150 bonus damage upon breaking the cloak with an attack. Shame be upon you if you only use it to run away.
I'd say forgo the Sage's Mask unless you intend to build a Ring of Basilius to combine with a Wraith Band, a Ring of Aquila is a sensible way to get a little armor, a little pushing power, and also save on inventory slots. Though if you're making money hand over fist, you can probably just save for something bigger and snowball where you can.
A Helm of the Dominator can be good. You can pick up an Alpha Wolf to bump up your damage by a further 30%, which can be great for clearing jungles quickly or even providing a boost to your teamfight punch. Can be later built into a Satanic for tankiness as well as a brief window of insane lifesteal. If you do go that route, alternate between frost and vanilla arrows, so that you get the 25% lifesteal on every other arrow.
A Butterfly can be great (+60 damage, +60% attack speed, 35% evasion), assuming you're paying attention to what the enemy team is building. Consider forgoing it if the enemy team's main damage dealer is in the process of building a Monkey King Bar, as they'll completely ignore the provided evasion. If you can be assured that they'll be locked down with stuns, it can still be worth the money because it grants a tremendous amount of right click utility.
BKB was more or less completely covered by Toggle, get it only if you need the protection (nor worth a lot to Drow for the stats). Get an MKB if you want to counter evasion (Windrunner being Windrunner, a hero with or building a Butterfly), get a Crystalis into a Daedelus if you're satisfied with your attack speed but not with your hero melting rate.
TL;DR: Drow is really flexible and should be built to need. Adapt and conquer.
This is what we do every time without fail though, has someone complained they couldn't find the Mumble channel or something?not a problem if you're setting up the game outside of mumble and have someone to tell you where to go but if you go there with the intention of FINDING a group? esp if you're new and don't recognize all the names that don't match up with gaf names?
Pick them!I hate playing against am or invoker, how are you supposed to counter them?
Stealth Assassin for the Former, and Ganks for the latter.I hate playing against am or invoker, how are you supposed to counter them?
