Christ I think I may finally be done with this game. Every damn game is a 46-9 lopsided dry anal raping by one team or the other, makes it at worst an endless pit of a 30 min nightmare, and at best a strategic-less bore fest. Matchmaking balance is so out of whack it's disgusting sometimes.

Yea right now MM is out of its damn mind. My team wont even communicate when we're being beaten to the ground. Last game we went 58-10 in favor of us. I'm prolly gonna lose terribly next game.

Man I really want that new rock hero but it looks like he wont be released any time soon :/

I'd vote for either him or Xin if compendium owners actually got to decide the next hero. The spirit heroes all have crazy mobility moves. Bfury sleight of fists are fun too. Guess there's no point since techies would win anyways.

This game is driving me up the wall at the minute! Every other game I land in, someone on my team rage quits and makes the game an up hill struggle that fails.

Currently in a game with a Necro, holy crap his ult did 1200 damage on me wtf??

Ugh. Awful losing streak tonight. First few games I play supports and get paired with shitty carries (seriously, one was a PL who who had like 2 items at 45 minutes, given complete free farm and map control).

Last game I end up mid as a randomed Troll Warlord and get paired against a 5 stack with 3 smurfs.

Dota certainly taketh away today. Minus an anomalous game the other day where I went SF mid and completely stomped, that's 7 or 8 losses in a row.

Guys.

I wan to play DOTA but I'm scared. I've played against bots and I always get my butt kicked..

If you're new and queue with other players. You will most likely get matched with new players too. Pick an easy hero to use like OgreMagi and focus on supporting your team. You will learn the nature of the game slowly as you play more games.

I got chat muted and I think I know what did it. It's really stupid too. I was playing Meepo with this VS on my team that right off the bat started calling me terrible before anything even happened. He kept swapping my Meepos and making me die, claiming he was just saving himself. I reported his ass and muted him in game. That was about four hours before the game says I have 20 hours left on my ban.

This system does fucking suck.

Screw bots man. Just start solo queuing. Most of the people you get matched with will be new too. The only way you will learn is by playing, over and over again. Start with some heros that have an easier learning curve, and get good at those. Eventually you'll understand the mechanics of the game more and will be able to start trying new heroes and item builds. But just keep it simple at the start.

The problem I've found with solo queuing is attitude. That's where I see the most shit talkers, while co-op with bots is relatively laid back. I feel it's the best place to learn because your teammates are more likely to be helpful.

Who are those heroes? I have absolutely no idea about things like that, lol.

Honestly it's different for everyone, however when first starting out I would avoid micro heavy heros and carries that require a lot of farm. Me personally, I started by playing a lot of support heros like Lich. I also liked Tidehunter, queen of pain, warlock. There are a lot of supports that are fairly easy to grasp. But it honestly varies from person to person. I would personally recommend you try game modes like single draft and random draft, as they will force you to pick from a more limited pool, and you can find out who you like more easily.
