Recently started playing this and now I'm hooked. Was playing centaur a lot at first but then I tried Axe and now he's my main. Here are my stats http://dotabuff.com/players/52532487

Any tips for a relatively new player?

Try to get good with at least one hero of each role so you can fill whatever your team needs. You seem to enjoy tanky characters, and Centaur is a good initiator. I'd also learn a support or two, a ganker, another initiator, and a good disabler. My recommendations would be to give these guys a try:

Lich
Sand King
Bounty Hunter
Luna
Shadow Shaman
Ogre Magi
Queen of Pain

I go back to the store, see that it is in my cart.

My heart flutters in excitement.

Go to checkout. ITS STILL THERE

Go to authorize payment. Error.

Now it's not in my cart. What a rollercoaster.

Digital tickets don't sell out, right? I'm safe if I wait a bit?

While digital items can't in theory sell out, the seats that are available in the hall are limited. So yeah they're already sold out.

I mean the ticket where you get the courier and shiz.

Oh, the books. They are an infinite amount.

They need to make it easier to turn the page for the Compendium, its much harder then it should be.

qualifiers are

Qpad or EG

then LGD and well second place dont know.

Damn, I feel bad for you guys who didn't get tickets. I'm reading the thread on r/dota2 about it and some of the people are raging about not getting their tickets. I wonder how if volvo is going to respond?

There should be a close button below it.

For West, I choice EG and Mouz.

For East, LGD and I picked at random.

So, anyone think any team is actually going to try a level 1 rosh? And the predictions are going to be damn hard to get right. Hero with the most first bloods? Uhhh....

Surprised to hear there were no limits on ticket purchases. Assumed they'd handle it like Blizzcon handled theirs, which was limit of 2 per customer.

They won't. They can't.

It sucks, but not everyone was going to get one who wanted one. There is just no way.

Also I took a bunch of screenshots of the compendium and they're not showing up anywhere. I don't think steam actually took them or maybe you can't take them with f12 while looking at the compendium.

By laughing as they get paid first for the bought ticket from the Store and then a second time from the Market.

It's genius. Evil, twisted genius.

Well Banaroya Hall can only accommodate 2500 people... All we can do is hope all those seats actually go to someone.

I'm curious to see how much the price changes between now and August. My gut is telling me that the scalpers will be the first to blink and lower their prices but at the same time there must be some pretty desperate folk out there.

Valve don't care as long as they get their money that's all that matters. Obviously though if there is a great enough backlash they may implement ticket purchase restrictions in future.

The amount of money made on this kind of thing is fucking peanuts to Valve.

Take your stock comments and go to reddit.
Likely because it's actually sold out.
Yeah. It was more confusion on it not being removed from my cart because it's sold out.
