Sandking is pretty simple, almost always feels useful.
You get a card for "completing" the game, so they party up as a group of 5, then all quit at once. They don't get abandons since the game ends after 30 seconds, but still get the loot for playing the game.
I hope they fix this soon, cards were going for 6/7 per treasure key last night when I checked.... Wonder what it's at now

I think Slark goes even in that lane, but Mag probably wins with an early level in empower. At the very least, Mag should probably outfarm Slark (moreso if he bottle crows).
This game! Sometimes I feel like I'm actually getting somewhere and improving, get a couple satisfying wins... And then I just get stomped like a bug. I don't know what it is about Luna but I can't for the life of me use her. Seems so squishy.

Well, yeah. That's a terrible lane for her to be solo against. Don't be afraid to build her a bit more tanky early on if need be. Once you get your farm up and going + ult kills you will start to roll heads.

Not saying it is you, but seems to me lots of dudes don't grasp the concept of hero match up. Having a couple of heroes that complement well, or counter enemy heroes goes a long way.
I would say that at midish - low level 50% of the win is at the selection screen. Most of the times I lost horribly is because there are 3 support, or 3 carry or... just not a good hero synergy going on.
Playing just one or two heroes really limits you to both complement your team and counter enemy heroes. Work on a rooster of at least 10 heroes.

How exactly do you farm with Weaver and what do you get first? I tried a bot match, and I managed with 20 mins treads and link's, but I dunno. I felt pretty weak until 30 mins (butterfly/mkb).
Yeah, hard to say.. still I have 3 abandons after 148 games, a ban of 24 hours.. seems unnecessarily harsh.

I've been in low priority for a few days now thanks to one of the guys I play with. WOrst part is, he hasn't really abandoned any games. He just gets D/Ced and can't get back in on time :-/

Yeah, I dont want to get all whiny because of low priority. Valve is doing everything flawlessly perfect with DOTA 2, yet the low priority system seems to harsh or exploitative at times, really we don't need this cowboy justice.
From what I can tell, if you get two abandons in 24 hours you're placed in low-priority. Happened to a friend of mine as well while he was having computer troubles. Missed the five minute window and we were then in low-priority.
I just teased him about it afterwards, but if your internet is really spotty or you have hardware/software issues it might be worthwhile to try and sort them out first. Otherwise, I guess play one game a day?
I'm not sure how else they could distinguish between actual quitters and those with computer issues.

Being a poor Australian, you can learn to with up to 200. Around 220, everything happens too slowly
I play on US West because I play with overseas people and it's fine (around 220 ping).
You should try to find a balance but you can last hit fine between Geminate and Sukuchi (which is an AOE nuke). Weaver can survive in lanes for a long time because of his escapes.
In ganks/team fights you can just spam Sukuchi and right clicks while placing Swarm on enemy heroes, the damage starts to add up quick.

I don't know about soloing a sidelane with Luna especially against those two.
