I find that buying things like dust/smokes on core heroes (mids/offlanes usually) either helps to convince supports to buy wards or at least alleviates the pressure enough let them buy wards.

It also provides for more reliable kills. Counting on supports to be around for important kills just wastes time.
 
Yep, I try to buy important items like smoke and dust on gankers/carries often because warding and counterwarding costs a lot of money by itself. Not having dust as a ganker is inexcusable

I eventually do, but if I'm playing a carry or mid I don't see why I have to when there are other players better fit for buying wards. Same goes for games where no one gets a courier and I always somehow happen to random a mid role.
 
When will Icefrom fix the goddam Visage birds. Make their health charge based. They are super useless late because they get oneshotted by everyone.

3/4/5 hits to kill and everything is fine.
 
Just had a game where someone abandoned, and we would have still won had our PA fed them like crazy :/ It always happens! I need to get a full group of people who aren't worse than me, because I'm not great anyway xD

Also.. I tried Rubick for the first time yesterday and he was the most fun support I've played. He is a support right? .. Grabbing someone's move and using it against them is oh so sweet. I used chronosphere on Faceless and he could still move though hehe

Yeah since Void can walk in all Chronos, the stolen sphere is best used to shut down some key supports and let your team kill the rest.

That's different than "can't farm." Pretty much every pro is very very very good at farming, it's their decision making that separates them. Xboct tends to be a lot more aggressive and take a lot of risks and half the time those backfire big time as he dives in recklessly.
