She's my second favorite hero! Pair her up with Nature's Prophet's Sprout to guarantee shackles! Such a fun hero. Also, landing a Shackle Shot and having someone say "NO WAY!" in all chat after some crazy angle ended up with two people together is very satisfying.

Damn, no matter how hard I lose, Pugna is so much fun to play. He can punish another mid so hard for leaving the lane. He bacomes a ridiculous pushing machine.
My favourite quirk with him is grab a casual void stone after Phase, I can get my entire mana pool up due to his amazing mana regen, love it.

Definitely would agree with this. You have to make every last hit count, could be the difference between getting wards out and still getting some survivability items and having to brown boot whilst warding for a while.
Nothing better than owning a game with Slark that gets you commended, after you played a game where you firstpicked OD in random draft, and then the whole team proceeds to pick carries. And when you call them out on it, they tell me that I picked a carry as well. WELL NO SHIT DID I PICK OD FIRST IN RANDOM DRAFT. I don't want that hero to go to the enemies.
Well, you can guess we didn't win that match, even though I had the most clutch saves ever. Saved my teammates maybe 2-3 times with well times banished and meks. But you can't carry a whole team against CK+Wisp. Especially when they won't listen to you, that roaming alone is a free kill for their side.

Wait what are tournament drops? I've seen them but I've never looked into how you get them..
Also, what do people do once a tower has fallen? It seems so difficult to push into enemy territory because you suddenly get ganked or the enemy team make a defense, and then you can't farm creeps. I hate when laning falls apart really early on and people just start wandering about and it's kinda chaotic.

If towers are falling then the laning phase is over. It's now the roaming/ganking/teamfight phase. Win a teamfight and push another tower. Lose a teamfight and defend a tower.

Razor with boots of travel, drums and yasha is a lot of fun, you have near the movement speed cap and can make racecar noises as you chase people down with your damage link on them.
If EA made dota 2 all the heroes would be behind a paywall, the paywall heroes would be more powerful than the f2p ones, you'd be able to buy stats and perks and new heroes would release in the form of DLC only and every time you left a match the dota 2 client would shut down so you could look for a new match on some shitty website that then has to reboot the client into a needlessly long extra loading screen.

Dunno if you can party for it to count, we just tried to queue snipe each other and it was an awful, awful game. Ended up 2 on one side 1 on the other. I forgot what the trench was like, I don't know how you guys play solo.
I mean, it was hilarious at first, but by minute 60 it was awful.

This bizarre line of thinking has persisted in pubs even across games for some reason. Even in HoN, where there's a hero port of Necro, he's always considered "support" in people's minds. Which is weird because his skill takes a fuck ton of mana (and is on such a low cooldown), no stun outside of ulti, needs last hits to make use of his passive, and he needs to stick around in a fight to deal damage with his aura.
I think people just see "oh, he has a heal" and automatically assume that means supporting.
Huh, so I disconnected on the score screen and then when I tried to reconnect it was unable to find the session since it was over. Had to leave the game, and my victory, and my items... and the level up I was going to get, and I probably got an abandonment too.
