Just started playing not that long ago. Played some practice matches and a couple of co-op v bot matches, but lack the confidence to jump into standard matches.

I did one standard match bit it wasn't a good experience. One guy was a total dick, abused players and then sat at home and did nothing.

At least you know what you're in for.

You can join the GAF guild where hopefully there will be less dicks around to play with.

Is Loda a legit rare card? Cuz I got one earlier today...

Nah, all the cards have the same rarity, but the cards for the better known players are worth more, since people rather have a card for a player they really like instead of some Chinese guy to a team they never heard of.

So far, apart from the sloppy play and weird bans, I've come to understand that the Korean teams really, really, really like defending their towers.

So weird with no cosmetics.

Good thing muh hulahoop is pasted on.

What are you talking about, there is an entire 3 cosmetic items in the game. The Rubick Frog Mask, the Keeper brown horse, and some wrist guards on NP.

Well, this is an amateur league, so its a bit hard to really draw any conclusions at this point.

Civ 4 is ugly and unit stack = lol.

Play some real war games, scrub.

Also I believe they're actually toning the AI down a tad in BNW because players don't like how erratic and ruthless they are.

They arent really erratic so much as they will backstab at some point in the future.

so is aghs pretty standard on silencer since 6.78?

It's really strong, but getting it on him is a challenge and risky to boot. He really needs the Force Staff to get away from people, but if you can stay alive without it then Aghanim is probably the best choice. And if you're playing support silencer (which is serviceable but not the best way to play him), it'll be even more difficult.

Well time for my nightly DOTA time, better prepare..

These Korean announcers are great. The best part is I have no clue how many people are commentating. It sounds like 3? But honestly it could be like 5.

So I have a question, why is it that when I'm making a build, it only lets it have 5 places to put items(like, starting items, late game, core, situational, etc)?

This is making it very annoying when I am trying to make a lone druid build.

Honestly, just put the items you need or may need anywhere in the guide. Once you've played a hero 4 or 5 times you'll know which item to build when. At that point, the biggest thing a guide does for you is allow you to buy items quickly.

Watching DOTA on GomTV, and that intro video looked a lot like the intro to Game of Thrones. Also, TobiWan would be a good korean commentator, all that shouting!

OMG this chipmunk song + guy with one arm (from leukemia) + plus his wife and newborn kid is just too much on this BTS stream.

Is there anymore info on this? I missed a lot of it and people were saying lots of different things like he was an ex pro player who lost his arm to cancer, he was a fan invited in and given money and it all left me quite confused, either way from what I saw of this little woman holding the mic crying and trying to force out what she had to say it was really sad...
