I think more and more people are starting to see it which has a direct impact on CCUs and viewership. There’s nothing that grabs you, nothing to sink your teeth into. All the problematic rough edges have been sanded down. It’s disposable junk for the lowest common denominator.

In a sense that there's no real "evil" playthrough in most games anymore. So your character can't be an ass etc. everyone has to stay happy at the end of the story, hardly leaves any impact anymore.
