I've asked twice in these DB Super threads without an answer so I'd really appreciate an answer this time. Does Neogaf support embedding any animation formats besides gif? I've made some things that are just too big to post in gif format.

I'd be up for an episode told from different perspectives with all the couples trying to have their respective date nights though.Vegeta being really sweet, Gohan and Videl being boring, Goku fucking up, I feel like those can bounce off each other well comedically.

webm could help a lot with file size.

I heard that webm got somewhat popular on this site a few years back, but I think it required a browser plugin. I don't know if anything's changed since then, since I'm not around as often as I used to be.

All the characters outside of a few get treated that way. Not sure why people act like it’s a female only thing.

I don't believe there is, no.

However, there are "mods" (Chrome addons) that will change GIFs into much better formats. Not supported by NeoGAF of course.

And who knows when the huge update will come to the forums what will be allowed or not then.

It's not "obvious" why she also lost her spunky personality along the way. No such thing happened to Bulma or Chi-Chi for example, they're still more than capable of bossing everyone around them in Super like they used to in DB and Z.

Videl really feels like a whole different character in Super, instead of an actual continuation of who they were/are.

Well that "Android 17 vs Kakunsa in 8 seconds" gif was optimized to around 10 mb. It looks a hell of a lot better in the original 720p source video. Hell, it looks better in a 240p mp4 of the original.

I also took close to an episode's worth of content and condensed it into 40 seconds, which is long for a gif, especially if you want a good framerate.

Edit: I also have a current animation in the works but it's probably gonna make for a huge gif.

And it's funny you mentioned Chi-Chi since she had a personality changed between Dragon Ball and Z, yet no one really complains about it unlike Videl. She went from a sweet, naive girl, to a fire-breathing education mom. So it is factually incorrect to say that her personality hasn't changed much.

Bulma also has a personal changed between Dragon Ball and Z. For one, she far less selfish and is far more aware where she stands. She just let her temper get the best of her and she has been lucky that no one killed her yet for it.

One of Videl's best moments in Super were in Episodes 71 and 72 where she showed that still have 'spunk', but is far more mature and calm with dealing with people that annoys her. As for her being a housewife, that is all opinion that I'm not getting into.

Bulma is the most intelligent character, imo. Not uselessly smart by studying hard things like another certain character, but her smarts actually have practical applications that are visibly world changing/saving. She is able to charm just about anybody and even has beerus and whis eating out of her hands. She is smart, rich, connected, and ‘the’ babe of dragonball. No other woman comes close.

For example ... that filler episode where Goku's instant transmission was screwy and he ended up in Bulma's bedroom when Bulma was coming out of the shower. Bulma screamed. Vegeta came rushing in. Shit like that, that's all I ask for.
