UI is accessible to anyone, although extremely hard since even the gods have problems with it. The actual form Goku got doesn't seems to be since UI wouldn't explained why Goku's power and speed jumped so much along with the physical changes.

Shorthand, Goku got a new transformation that gave him access to UI, not that UI is the transformation.

I think the blue aura will change into red once Goku transforms for the second time. I watched both the episodes again for the 10th time lol. Can it be Sunday morning already?

Idk why ppl think the others would get Ui(not here other forums) in the context for what it is among the z fighterz the only two it makes sense with is goku and vegeta

The thing with UI is that its a general thing that Gods can attain and so can mortals apparently, so basically means Vegeta will get it eventually as for others? Who knows. I dont think it matters, Jiren doesnt seem to have UI and can still stand toe to toe with Goku using it.

It makes sense for those two and only those two(in regards to u7) but ppl like gohan,goten,trunks, kale etc ppl are pushing it.

That’s the interesting part too jiren doesn’t have it yet he had no prob keeping up so it’s not a deus ex i really like it. It’s the next step but it’s not leaving others in the dust either

I think 109 is one of my favorite Super episodes. There's a lot of little flourishes I really liked, like the way Goku's Kamehameha splinters off and around Jiren's ki barrier.

Yeah for some reason I have a feeling it might be a Goku exclusive thing. Maybe Vegeta will get it too because he always gets what Goku gets... but that's it. And I'm fine with that, different characters should get different, unique forms.

Also, I imagine it's hard for even the gods to fully tap into Ultra Instinct because they so rarely, if ever, are confronted by a life-threatening level of danger/pressure? Beerus said Goku was the strongest person he ever fought, other than Whis, and even then he barely broke a sweat over it. His life was never threatened in the way Goku's was when the Spirit Bomb consumed him.

I expecting a god lending their energy to one of the contestants would be considered massive cheating. Hell, I'm shocked Tien, Krillin, and Roshi got pardoned for lending their energy since it's technically getting outside help.

But it's Zeno and he bends the rules however he sees fit on a whim, so who knows.

In the same episode they had shown one of the defeated magical girls giving energy to Ribrianne, so it was established that it was allowed, although no one questioned it there either.

They need to find a way to take Jiren out of the fight for a while otherwise he's just gonna dominate the rest of the tournament

I imagine everyone will get a turn against him and wear him down, at least until Goku can come back and finish a weakened Jiren off.

For me, as soon as I saw it, it made me think of Gohan's eternally hidden great potential and his "other way".

i think Hit is not gonna beat him or get eliminated by him, i think he's gonna make Jiren unable to fight for an extended period of time and Toppo and Dyspo will be forced to play keep away with Jiren until he's ready to fight again

I'm sure once Goku masters it he'll be able to easily overtake Jiren.

It would be kinda cool if Hit could trap Jiren in his pocket dimension, so Jiren can't do shit, but Hit also can't do shit because if he moves and loses focus Jiren will break through

So it takes both them out of the fight and u6 has to protect Hit, or all the fighters let it slide bc Hit is doing them a solid

Not really any evidence he can do that tho

I kind of subscribe to the theory that Hit is trying to kill Jiren. He even said "I'm working."

Also a possibility. I just feel like, based on what we've seen, Jiren doesn't get beaten by Goku unless he's massively worn down first. Even with the new form Goku landed all of two punches and Jiren didn't even look like he was near his limit yet, so unless the two of them stalemate something's going to need to happen to give Goku an edge.

that's the role of the two Namekians since we know Cabba Is taking off heat from Kale and Caulifla in 112 and 113/4 is Kale and Caulifla protecting then fighting Goku, and presumably 115 is the Kale/Caulifla episode from Toshio

Hit's fight with Jiren will be very interesting, i can see Hit improving his game similar to the way he did against Goku in the u6 tournament and if he does it could make for a pretty awesome climactic showdown between the three

also i can't remember a shot in any dragon ball media that i've seen that looks as good as this

Watching their fight it makes me think how can Jiren be such a beast. Goku is as strong as he is because of all of the threats he's had to deal with pushing him to get stronger. He's always trained on his own but those dangers are what pushed him further.

I wonder if Jiren has gone through similar stuff or did he get as strong as he is by his own determination. Because he is insanely strong. Goku in UI form was getting cancelled out by Jiren and he didn't look like he was overexerting himself at all.

It kind of goes to shit at the end since you can see its just still frames of Goku and Jiren with yellow smears slapped all over.
