I bought the German blu-ray set off of Amazon DE. Region free. Great quality. No forced subtitles.

I think the nose thing is for the suit to capture water from the breath to survive longer in deserts, Arrakis has a breathable atmosphere.

They breathe in through the mouth and out through the nose.

This. The nose tube is part of the stillsuit used to reclaim water. It isn't part of a respirator or rebreather or anything.
