Whether this thing is fake or not, FF XII HD is one of the things I'm most certain about at E3 this year. What I'm not sure about is whether it's coming to the Vita...

Please Square Enix, please.
 
GamesRadar's 15 Sony E3 predictions for anyone interested. Apologies if it's been posted already.


  • Rockstar will announce a Red Dead Redemption remake, exclusive to PS4 for a limited window
  • There will be a new game from Guerilla. It will not be Killzone
  • We'll get a fresh Morpheus demo, using a current or upcoming PS4 game. London Heist will be a launch game
  • The PS Plus version of Driveclub will be re-announced. It will be fully tuned up now, and look excellent
  • Vita will get a total of two mentions. One of them will be by accident
  • Sony will promise that The Last Guardian exists on PS4, but of course won't actually show it
  • Sony will stick a flag in Star Wars Battlefront by announcing exclusive DLC and a PS4 beta
  • There will be an Uncharted Trilogy collection. And other re-releases
  • There will be an indie showreel, soundtracked by Avicii's 'The Nights'. Because of course it will be
  • Sony will continue to back Destiny, with an on-stage expansion reveal and more exclusive content
  • A one-second clip of Severed during a multiformat sizzle reel will be the best Vita thing shown at the conference
  • Uncharted 4 will get a substantial demo and a definitive release date
  • No Man's Sky will get an in-depth, live demo
  • The Final Fantasy 7 PS4 port will be available after the conference
  • If it can be bothered, Sony may introduce a new PS4 or something

I feel like I just overdosed on cynicism.

That is a remarkably reserved list. This is coming from someone with very modest expectations haha

Ah well. It would be awesome if it's one of the announced games at Sony or Squares E3 conference but I won't be too disappointed if it doesn't show up. I'm excited about new announcements but I'm mostly looking forward to seeing more from already announced games.

FFXII HD is perhaps my most wanted games of this conference (along with TLG). Please SQEX!
 
I loved FFXII but I don't understand what is going on.

I saw a lot of hatred when it was talked about(Most because of Van?) and now people want that?

Yup. I want it. But, where is the hate from before?

FF12 was ahead of its time. People didn't know they wanted it until that abomination of a FF13 series appeared and lasted for 8 years.

Huh? I was under the impression that it was generally well regarded?

Loved it personally from day 1.

And it's not very hard to ignore Vaan as the lead as he is more just along for the ride. Ash and Balthier were leads for me.

Of course it will be shown if it's actually there at the conference.

If TLG is scheduled to be there then I expect it to take Uncharted 4's "one last thing" spot from last E3 at the end. The Japan Studio logo will flash and everyone will lose their shit.

That and they improved the game with IZJS which was only released in Japan, so people want to play the best version in HD.

Do it Square. I don't care about Hitman. Gimme XII!
 
I'd be more upset with that FFXII image if I felt FFXII Remastered didn't have a likely chance of being made. But after people double dipping (or even triple dipping) for FFX Remastered and seeing it chart, XII getting that treatment seems all but assured.

wasn't there some insight into RDR that the code is basically so screwed up, so that a PC port is more or less impossible?

Did it fix all the treasure chests with shitty loot in them? I was so mad when I opened loot chests only to find barely any currency or a single potion in them. Also, do you get gambits earlier in the game? All the gambits worth a damn came so late in the game that it made the first half of the game incredibly bad.
