Mob hysteria. The "insider" track record on TLG is 100% wrong, every year, every show. Just ask Y2Kev
I guess, to me it's probably:
1. Sony: The Last Guardian, Horizon and whatever surprises they have.
2. Nintendo: Animal Crossing U, and their 3DS game announcements.
3. Square Enix: Final Fantasy XII HD Remaster, Hitman.
4. Bethesda: Fallout 4, Doom, and hopefully Dishonored 2 (not expecting it).
5. Microsoft: Rare's project, and hopefully they can convince me with some surprises.
6. EA: Star Wars Battlefront, Mirror's Edge 2 and especially FIFA 16.
7. PC: Don't know what to expect from this one, hope to see PC exclusive games.
8. Ubisoft: R6 Siege, and either of Hero/Splinter Cell.

It was insane to me that they walked away from it in the first place.
It's not like they were making a new IP. The formula that started from the rough concepts of 47 & Silent Assassin were slowly, but surely polished to a sheen, culminating in Blood Money.
A more polished, bigger Blood Money was all Absolution needed to be. How did they fuck it up?

Bully should come first the game came out in 2006 while Red Dead (which is brilliant) came out in 2009 or something

The difference is, though, is Red Dead is wildly more popular. The sales would likely be light years apart. What year Bully came out is irrelevant.

The console versions didn't chart high in their debut month's NPD (around 200k or so, both versions combined) and already vanished from the top 10 a month later (march 2013). A pretty weak result for such a major name, not to mention compared to 300k first week sales in Japan, PS3 version only. (in other words, just search for the GAF sales topics from back then)
I never read up on the PC sales.

Eh, I have a feeling we won't see it tbh, which is a huge shame because it could potentially win Sony the entire E3.
If we don't see it I think we can safely assume it's in development hell and won't be seen for a pretty long time, maybe 2x E3s from now at the earliest.

I hope we'll learn more about what is WiLD, and have a stage demo of the new Hitman game. I'm all about the suprises for this E3 (if it's on PS4), so if there's none I'll be pretty damn disapointed.
A stage demo for MAD MAX would be cool seeing how the movie is making big waves.

Bully was the first(if not only one) game of it's "franchise"?
And for it's age, I think sales comparison is a bit unfair.
But, also think that it won't happen bacause of our time. People are too sensitive about bullies and stuff. I would love another one, but... Well just trying to see as an executive would.

I maintain TLG has been cancelled/resources for it have been moved onto different things.
edit - according to wiki, bully sold 1.5 mil, and red dead sold 12.5 mil. I know what I'd make if i was rockstar.

The PC version has about 450k owners as of now.
I agree that Red Dead was more popular maybe we can see Rockstar announce both games at E3 2015
That could potentially happen after all the trophies leaked a while back.

Just curious, but why would prefer X-men Legends 3 over Marvel Alliance 3? I thought Marvel was a more superior game, but I only played the first X-men Legends

I don't think Sony would have reassured us after so many year only to let that happen. They know it's a megaton for them, giving it to the fans would win them a lot of industry press and good will from gamers.

Fair enough. Although I'm not sure the superior sales of a budget Steam release would translate well into an argument for Sony to fund a new one as a PS4 exclusive.
But hopefully it's good enough for Konami not to kill it behind the scenes like Silent Hills.

I don't know if anything is stopping them. However, when we haven't even seen a new installment for their second biggest IP, I personally wouldn't count on seeing a new LA Noire anytime soon.
I feel like the game does not need a sequel at this moment in time but maybe they will use the same ideas in something like Agent (what happened to that)
That's what makes it all suspicious, Beyond was ready to hit PS4 but for whatever reason its release was put on hold....it could be simple schedule efficiency, but there may be a delay because of them choosing to port Heavy Rain at the last minute.
Maybe they've been working on both their new game and HR Remastered and we'll know about the latter joining Beyond in a bundle at E3, I'd personally love that, Heavy Rain is amazing.
