E3 Conference ordered by Hype Level

1. Bethesda
2. Microsoft
3. Ubisoft
4. Sony
5. Square Enix
6. EA
7. PC
8. Nintendo

Will activision have its own conference? Then it'd be a hundred slots after my interest was over.
 
The only problem with PoP 2008 that I had was that some of the animations were a little janky. Don't know if it was the animation or the framerate, but yeah (I played on a 360). Otherwise, I had a blast playing through it, despite it not being challenging at all.

Also, loved the music selection for the E3 and TGS trailers

Oh, totally forgot about that game. It was and is still a good game, but the combat with single enemies was lacking and repetitive. I'd wish they had made a sequel.

I found the game at one of my local shop at 1 € (retail) a couple of years ago, it was a mistake though as the price got corrected after the next time I visited it.
 
Why do people think Prince of Persia is happening? That guy was talking about himself in that tweet. He played both those characters.

Didn't Ubisoft say that they would make a sidescroller PoP with the UbiArt Engine? I think this would probably be what the tweet is referring about, I think.
 
Is creating a fake leak and posting it on GAF to see if the internet falls for it, even if you blatantly say it's fake, bannable?

The Shenmue 3 thing that went around happened in this very thread I believe, with the person outright stating he's gonna create a fake. Not banned.

As long as you clearly state it's fake (and you're telling the truth), you should be fine. Some pretty fake fakes show up here every now and then, from pastebin to angled shots lol

I think people have created mockups and fakes to see the GAF --> Internet --> GAF cycle, so no one cares unless you're trying to fool GAF itself. We enjoy fooling plebs :P

Most fake lists this year are from Nintendo's Digital Event, I've seen quite s number, and that's not counting that Nintendo fake generator site.....the thirst for legit Nintendo leaks is real lol

Horizon is not FPS. It is Third Person.

I don't know if it's clear through the blurring I added (because these pictures always have to be taken with a potato), but I postulated Nexus as the name of the new Online service, because we know they're working on something to replace Club Nintendo and a new membership system, and because the name ties in nicely with NX.

F-Zero I just put in as a megaton.

Ah, I see it now. I dunno how well that would work though. NX is a codename and most likely won't be part of the final product's name, and Nintendo traditionally gears towards a more approachable, fun or - ̗̀new ̖́- with their add-ons. I would think something like Hub Nintendo would be an okay one to fit alongside their kid and family initiative with Play Nintendo.

I think that's certainly where people are right to say something is overrated. When we get to the point that you get flamed out of discussions for critiques and dissing a developer based on legitimately bad or average games, there's a hype culture attached to their name.

Amazing. Flip this upside down and you've got my list (apart from EA, who'd be 7th - just ahead of Bethesda).
 
My hype
1. Sony - They never disappoint and I am taking their relative silence as a good sign.
2. Square Enix - I have always a fan of Square, a lot of potential there.
3. Bethesda - Fallout
4. Nintendo - The wildcard, you don't know what they will announce.
5. EA - Dragon Age Expansion and Mass Effect
6. Ubisoft - Assassin's Creed Syndicate
