I think the issue here is that he has to state now if he's just being a blind believer that's stating the above in jest/hopes it's true, or if he's trying to say that he has insider knowledge.

True, but given that they seemed to be looking at doing more remasters I was kind of hoping for that one. I'd take it over a lot of others anyway.

Well, it seems this year is definitely the year for TLG (At least for the re-reveal). First we got that "Zoetis" (Or something) user claiming there would be "great news" for fans on this E3. The user was vetted by Kagari and then banned for constant teasing.
Now we are getting small hints from people like shinobi, OrbitalMatrix and others who I don't remember right now. All of them are still here. I believe even Y2Kev is being all mysterious.
I, for one, believe TLG WILL be there, in some way, shape or form.

I like the theory that it was kept alive solely for legal reasons and like only two guys were working on it for the last few years.
We don't know what the conversation was, which means we don't even know if he was actually vetted. I can have a "conversation" with a mod without being vetted.
We have to wait for Kagari to chime in now.

Teased a lot before PSX IIRC, but he should be unbanned and among us.

He teased a lot of things that didn't show up at PSX.
We are on the same boat, too many pointers, and it's not like Sony has just forgotten about it, every time it's been reported cancelled it was clarified that the project lingered. Trouble is exactly that, it has literally lingered until reaching major vaporwave status.
I am going to join #TeamShow this once, we'll see something TLG at E3

Yeah I don't plan to do anything like that, because I don't have a clue what Sony is showing and I'm just as excited as everyone else lol But, I'm feeling optimistic about TLG after this week, very optimistic and like I say, will be very surprised if it doesn't show up.

How does it feel to spoil surprises that devs are hard at work to make us impressed? I mean, i enjoy early leaks 'cause get me hype. But it's totally a guilty pleasure.
