I, like King Verendus, believe the time of the TPS is nigh. It is the singularity, my friends. All game genres will converge and become TPS. It is change, continuing change, inevitable change, that is the dominant factor in games today. No sensible decision can be made any longer without taking into account not only the TPS as it is, but the TPS as it will be...
