White Knight Story had the potential to be great, especially before the generic art style downgrade. Check out the much better, realistically animated intro early on, it looked fantastic. I thought it was going to be another Phantasy Star Online.

True yeah, they should probably just treat it like any other game for the most part, we can imagine how it will be improved by VR without them having to repeatedly tell us.

Absolutely agree on this. WKC is Level 5's lowest rated PS2/PS3 IP on my scale, aimed high but was kinda bland in the end. (for me)

AI in Ni No Kuni is a bit clumsy and gameplay in Rogue Galaxy and the DCs was a bit chunky, BUT the experience was not damaged by it and all games are in my mind associated to beautiful, happy gaming memories. Same goes to DQ8 and the Layton Games.

I really want Level 5 to make a statement and get back in the game, I hope they make me happy next week ^^
 
Nintendo will flop again, MS will have another underwhelming show of games and Sony will talk to much about Project Morpheus. Thats how I see the show happening.
 
Well this Oculus Rift conference is pretty damn bad. Guess its up to Valve and Media Molecule to show why VR is so much better. Because nothing Rift has shown has made me say wow i really need VR.

Flop again compared to when? Because last year Nintendo basically redefined E3. did something nice and different people liked.

EDIT: Talking about their presentation style, here. Not their games. Digital event and live streams, guys. Please stop being terrible towards me for no reason.

What? Nintendo's presser was amazing last year. The Robot Chicken sketches, Devil's Third, Yoshi's Woolly World. I think Mario Maker was announced as well? It was a good show.
 
Well that Oculus Rift conference was the worst I have ever watched.

I can't wait for us to move on from VR, it'll be an overpriced fad. It does not give me any confidence for Sony's demonstration of Morpheus. Please no more than 20 minutes on the device.

You've called on this for too long sire, i'm sure when SFV come, a lot of people will ask for your ID to give you some good 'ol Ken-flavoured smacking.

I'm guessing it'll be less "20 minutes dedicated to Morpheus" and more like "compatible with Morpheus" announcements after lots of games, plus a couple of specific announcements (Bend, London) and maybe small reel for games already out that will add compatibility (Driveclub, Destiny etc.).

I hope it's not much at all. There's only so much you can demo for VR on stage.
 
Adam Boyes will probably announce that Level 5 exclusive, since he is responsible for Third Party Stuff.....


And as a last gif we have this game from Lockstarter ehm sry i meant Activision....Lights turn out...you hear the beautiful melody of Crash.
The Crash logo appears on the screen, Adam Boyes is wearing an crash costume now, and i am fainting

I don't think it's exactly that it was what it had but how it was presented. The whole pre recorded live stream stuff hadn't really been done before and I think not many people really believed in It. I think in that respect there was at least a tiny bit of redefinition. Also he forgot splat ion and Zelda, how could you forget those.
 
Nintendo were ace. Splatoon was an awesome reveal, gorgeous Zelda, Yoshi, Captain Toad and Kirby footage, Smash and Xenoblade, GotY Bayo 2... How the hell was that bad?

I don't care about Devil's Third. Or Splatoon. Or Mario Maker. That's not the point I'm making. I'm talking about their presentation style, the combination of the digital event and the live streams, which people really, really liked.

Look no further than any GAF thread from E3 last year.
