E3 2015 Predictions & Discussion thread

The lack of leaks from the MS side is rather surprising. Usually Sony can keep the ship from leaking, but this year it seems to be reversed.

I don't think we've had leaks from any sides really. Sony always pre-announces some stuff so that they can show things off without getting them lost in the shuffle.

Here's my only E3 wish.

That nobody from Sony comes out to Bruno Mars blasted over the PA for their introduction. Usually, they have pretty good music for their entrances. I still remember Jack Tretton coming out to Imagine Dragons. Great choice, and every time I hear it on the radio I think back to the awesome 2013 press event and bombshell.

So... Sony... if you are reading this. No Bruno Mars. Please. In fact, if I could pick a song for you, I'd choose Come With Me Now by the KONGOS.

MS. You are free to use Bruno Mars all you want.

We don't even know if it's a real thing. Right now there's more reason to believe that we won't see anything about GT at E3.
Obviously it's only a leak if it turns out to be true. But it's still a leak

If Sony wanted us to know that GT7 was going to be at E3, they would have said so publicly. Clearly they are saving it for a surprise.

I have no idea if this has been posted and I have no idea where to post this and ask this question but I've been reading the consoles war live on twitter from the most dedicated and hardcore on both sides. I came across this picture while looking up the #sparse.

It seems to be what the Xbox side has latched onto ever since house said it during a conference call I believe. I mean look for yourself if you can stomach the craziness.

Has there only been the 3 games between Jan-Aug? exclusive wise?

I'm surprised by the lack of Trademarks. Last year we had (on the sony side) Killstrain, Bloodborne, Entwined and Hungry Horde, this year? Nothin. Or i missed them all.

Not really. WILD, Tomorrow Children both got trademark revealed after the event.

A Thief's End/inFamous FL as well, which shows that there was an attempt to hide their trademark releases, but somehow the 4 you named above leaked through.

I'm guessing they're probably smarter this year.

Well, it has to be someone, since Acti doesn't have a press conference of its own.

Unless it's secretly YouTube who moneyhatted CoD.

If it truly doesn't have marketing on either side and is done by Activision, it could be at MS or Sony's conference. Or it could be released on its own by Activision over Youtube or Twitch or something.

I'll give you two for Xbox:

Fable Legends to come out during e3.

Undead Labs debuts open world coop zombie game.
Not possible. It is launching day and date on XB1 & PC(Windows 10). Windows 10 isn't out until July 29, so that is likely when you will see it (it is a Wednesday after all)

Well you are talking about big guns....REALLY BIG GUNS: Halo, Forza, Gears, TR for the xbox one

Battlefront will be playable on the showroom floor, I fully expect an alpha launched during Sony's conference. Invites sent to those at the show and to anyone watching in theaters. Probably on EA Access too.

So is MS the only console producer who hasn't done Pre-E3 announcements outside saying games moved to gamescom and Halo 5?

I mean the companies are removing the fun from E3, I already know Ratchet will be there now so it won't be amazing. Ugh.

How do you know Ratchet will be at the conference? It was also revealed last year.

The sarcastic way to look at MS's statement is that they chose to forfeit pre-E3 announcements because they want to have a 'better' Gamescom, which was criticised last year for being E3 Redux largely.

I mean, saying you have so much stuff that you're moving it to later, in a time when everyone else is revealing their stuff earlier is kinda awkward in a sense, but they want it to be a big stage event, so more power to them.

Pre-E3 announcements keep titles from being overshadowed by other things. I'm sure not nearly as many people would be talking about the R&C gameplay had it been during the conference.

Cuphead is MS exclusive as well right?

Pretty sure we'll get release date for it at E3.

MLB The Show was in April also I believe. It's an awesome game that rarely gets mentioned. Check out the NPD Thread and the surprise to people that three months later it still charts.

I just hope Sony announces at least one killer game coming out this year. I know they said their first party line up this year is gonna be weak, but I have hope

Well you are talking about big guns....REALLY BIG GUNS: Halo, Forza, Gears, TR for the xbox one
How is that relevant? Games are games. PS4 a few months later have uncharted and tomb raider will be on ps4. They also had bloodborne already and uc collection is not a small thing by any means.

I think I'm wrong. Don't know exatcly how it works outside my country so...
Here if we try to get a trademark, it takes sometime. A gooood time.

How does it work in USA and others?
When a form is sent is already on public domain?
