E3 2015 Predictions & Discussion thread

I was looking at the E3 website and it has some of the conferences starting 30 mins earlier than the pic in OP. Earlier times or is it pre-show?

We're SO close and the wait is only getting harder. E3 is one off those few times of the year where I just want to fast forward life till the coverage and conferences start.

Sunday 9pm EST - Game Of Thrones Finale
Sunday 10pm EST - Bethesda Conference - E3 BEGINS.

It's been a pretty busy week, so I don't mind a chance to relax before Sunday.

Smash in the morning, Ninty Championships in the midday, and Bethesda at night. Not watching the GoT finale because I'm still two eps behind. Maybe I can find the time to catch up.

How? I'm probably missing things from both sides (just added in a couple, actually), but this is the release schedule.

Sorry, that was shitty phrasing on my part... I meant the release schedules themselves look so much more packed on the PS4 side, I wasn't saying you'd skewed them. Sorry.

Thanks for the handy reference in fact. Forgot Jump Vs was this month :)

I think Sal's list is pretty good now that I've been linked to it. It's still missing some titles on both sides, but it paints a good picture.

Yeah, But lists bore me (and much of gaf), images are where it's at :P

Exclusives and Published Games:

I think I'm done making these xD

Edit: If MS Studios published any other game, please tell me.

Im getting confused.

Didnt that Danny dude from gamespot said the game wont be at Sony press conference??
Aint he good friends with someone on Hello Games?? I even think its Sean

Source? I'm guessing we'll just get a trailer. If true, I doubt we'll get a concrete release date.

Thought this rumour was put to bed a few pages back. New source?

Where you hear that? Interesting indeed.

Sauce I think

What if they are simply working on finishing the game and instead someone from Sony will present a trailer and release date? I don't think Hello Games needs to be there if that's all that is left to be announced.

Geoff's youtube event states that they will be there to talk No mans Sky. SO it is possible it could be at Sony's presser

Just one thing. Why people think Forza is november??
Apart from launchs games they usually ship either september or october
Also, didnt amazon ''leaked'' a september date a few days ago?

Ya, Images are a bit easier on the eyes :P.

Only thing you are missing from MS Studios is Gigantic, which they are publishing sometime for Fall 2015 http://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/gigantic

Otherwise it should be correct on MS side at least.

edit: Guns Up! and Kill Strain are 2015 titles right?

Ya, that and Fable Legends is looking like a July release to coincide with Windows 10 launch

Sony's E3 would be pretty insane if Horizon, Media Molecules new IP, and TLG are shown. What else could you want from that show?

Brand new Level 5 JRPG and Sony Bend! Those are the missing piece as far as fresh material. Maybe even GT. Then it would be the best E3 Conference they've had, especially if you throw in a glorious new U4 demo.

Sony's Conference has so much potential with Developers having worked on some Unannounced PS4 games for multiple years now.

I guess it comes down to what is ready, and what they want to show. I hope Sony is very aggressive, and reveals/shows at least half of these games. Hell, 2 or 3 of them would be an amazing conference.

Who would be making it? Konami admitted years ago that they don't have anyone capable of making RPGs anymore.

Sounds like the same kind of mobile crap to which Capcom reduced Breath of Fire.

OverWorks? Media.Vision? plenty of quality JRPG devs just waiting for a contract
and if the talent has left Konami it shouldnt be too hard to pick them up for a project

If we didn't have TGS, PSX and that Paris Games Show, and they went fully in on E3.. it would be the best conference ever considering what they have waiting to announce.

More than likely a 2016 title but Day of The Tentacle Special Edition.

This is the best answer you could possibly get. Surely the only feasible remastered collection out there that would get a massive reaction from the crowd.

While simultaneously moving few units given how many people have no idea why this series is such a big deal.

Unless it becomes a TPS.

Well, that's why a remastered collection should exist, so that a new generation can discover for themselves why it's considered such a big deal.

That might be an overestimation of that franchise. I think it's the GAF effect.

It's been the most requested title over at #BuildingTheList ever since the campaign started, as stated by Gio Corsi himself. And I'd imagine there'd be a lot of older journos amongst the crowd who'd be delighted to see it return. In terms of remasters and nothing else, I can't think of anything that would have the same impact as Shenmue 1 and 2.

You can't think of a remaster that would have the same impact as Shenmue 1 and 2? Not a
FF
single
7
game?

GAF effect eventually took Souls mainstream. One should not underestimate the power and reach of the 2015 gaming intelligentsia.

Any Shenmue announcement would inspire untold numbers of poetic think pieces on every high traffic game site. People who never played it (many, since it launched on doomed hardware) will be curious.

In 2015, when there is a truly passionate fanbase, a larger audience quickly grows.

I am so looking forward to this!! I will watch Bethesda's presser on Monday morning, right before Microsoft's conference, from that point on, it's all live for me!!

Today was a great pre-E3 day because some of the things I wanted materialized, such as Zestiria PS4 (duh but still great to get confirmation) and Tearaway Unfolded's release date.

I am now looking forward to both what we know will be there and to the potential of the unannounced stuff....I am expecting great things from Sony and Square-Enix, hopefully I won't be disappointed :)

It would be great if someone vaguely teased something now that we are 2 days away from the big event, just saying =P
