Gamekyo took the photo from where the bear originated. I don't know if they will attend E3 this year and take another round of photos, but it would be nice to have an updated version of that paint tear or whatever it is. FStop7 talked about driving by, perhaps he/she can take a pic.![]()
Soon.
In that image, from what is the banner at the right with the girl?
IRC in last years thread someone said they are not allowed to use panels on that building, they have to actually paint the ad so it takes time to finish.
Who has the front staircase this year?

GUN was a good, vastly underrated game. It was like the RDR before RDR.

Literally. There's a grid the painters work from. They're real artists, obviously, but they work from a very rigid plan with easy to replicate sectors.
I love this stuff. For some reason hearing about crates and signs is hype building.
I'm pretty sure it's the cover art which works really well. It gives GTA box art vibes while still looking very different.
The biggest problem was it was invite-only, and they didn't invite small developers to it. And there was very limited floor space, so big companies wouldn't show off their small games.Remember when E3 changed a few years ago to a smaller, more intimate event without all the glitz and glamour?
I'm so glad that was short lived because that was boring as hell.
damn it fucking everybody uses Instagram
Yeah, Nintendo spends all their money on their booth

Note that the word "Nintendo" there is actually animating (Nintendo is king of the projector)
Check out what Nintendo did in their booth in 2005 - an interactive floor, complete with fish and spiders that would react to youBut I also want something big ouside
At least the have the best booths and e3 presentations spectacular wise.
Would be awesome if this time they use the same technology as in disney parks with the big ass projectors that make the building move and have characters, that would be awesome.
In fact, one year they have to secure the whole front building instead of sony, and as they never show anything because of secrets just put projectors that show it when the time comes and have a fully animated giant ad.

I wish Nintendo would have bought the main sign space since WiiU is a big deal, but I guess they really don't need it. I mean, remember E3 2006? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGlvLQzvJNA

What game is the poster on the right for? The one that has the Archer on it. The symbol that is cut off looks like the Superman Symbol
The biggest place on the convention centre is taken by... the PlayStation logo? How bland is that?

Why is there 'Max Payne' written in the center of the middle building?

Didn't someone just announce a new DC Comics fighting game today? The archer might be Green Arrow.

They're painted on in a giant paint-by numbers grid. There isn't dudes running around painting individual wisps of hair or anything.

I wonder what non-gamers passing through the area must think of all the signs.
That was the old ad.
That it's a horrible waste of money.
