EA website asks opinions about Next-gen Hardware

As a M$ fan, I can agree that Sony will win this war. There's no stopping them really. I don't give a damn what history shows. Sony will be the leader once again this gen.

MS will still do well though.

Oh wow, looks like the Nintendo kids have were finally given permission to go on the internet from their parents. :)
LOOK. Our parents realized it wasn't fiscally viable for us to go on the Internet previously. That's all changed now. Got it?

Before the forums get a hold of them, most of the threads all show Rev in the 10-12% range.

Seems to probably be pretty accurate at this point.

However, if we look at the DS, Iwata originally said they would be surprised if more than 10% of the populace initialy took to the system, and they would initially be pleased if more did.

So since the DS is suppose to be a good indicator of the Rev, seems to be pretty similiary anticipated.

And after the DS launch, we all know how well it did.
Similiar results for Rev? That would be good times.

By the way, those files were put together as a joke. I discovered playing around with one of the files I could get tweak the percentages. So, please don't waste your time clicking on that form button over and over. It won't do any good.

I'm not sure how MSNBC is stopping double-votes... b/c clearing cookies does not allow you to vote again. Perhaps it checks for IP?

JayFro, are you the same JayFro from TXB? How come you don't post there anymore, you used to be a pretty fierce Nintendo troll there.

I was assimilated by N fans 4 years ago and have joined the Gahiggidy army. :)

That's not true. I don't have you on my list.

Huh...how is the DS an indicator of the Revolution success? Are they not two seperate entities?

I was sort of curious about that myself? I wonder how the DS did if there were similar polls at the time approaching it's release. It would be interesting to see.

MS and Nintendo have to do more than equel the PS3 because it's got the mindshare LOCKED..... The PS3 has already won, it has to un-win by screwing something up.. which to date it hasn't done yet.

No, you misread me.
I didn't say the DS was a good indicator of the Rev's success... Iwata said that the DS is a clue, or an indicator, as to what is so revolutionary about the Rev - or, at least, indicitive of what Nintendo is trying to do with the Rev.

So I'm just saying, Nintendo only expected a 10% acceptance rate of the DS when first unveiled. They got that and more. And it is surprassing their sales expectations.

Now, they got polls showing similiar percentages of early accetance rate of their Rev. Since they say the two systems are comparable, this is probably all they expect right now, initially. So they wont be dissapointed with these results.

So, I'm saying, maybe this is good for them and will turn out to be positive just as the DS passed their expectations.
