hi guys, i'm searching for some very doable offline FPS's, possibly with non frenetic action and with stupid enemies;
even better if weapon(s) zooming and kill cam are also included

one from the past i remember i have already played is Soldier of Fortune Payback on Xbox360
do you have some recommendations (whatever hardware apart last generation consoles) ? thanks in advance

Sniper Elite & FEAR series? Or Boomer shooter on Steam right now? Painkiller, NecroVision, Turbo Overkill, HROT, Prodeus, Dusk, Singularity, Cultic, etc.

"Reload, Shoot, Retire". A fps with you entering an old peoples home and shooting a bunch of old people. The boss is a nurse who fights you with a spoon. Basically no resistance and therefor no way to die. I'm also kidding, there is no game like that. Or is there?

thanks for all the suggestions, i have already tried Painkiller, Necrovision and Turbo Overkill, they are too much frenetic, i'm searching for something with an even slower rithm atm; no phsychic powers, just simple mechanic is preferable;
watching some Tube gameplay cuts atm, Exumed on PS1 seems also interesting

borderlands, although bullet sponge
thanks but no, i prefer one shot one kill atm

Might want to check out FPS games designed for consoles, stuff like Goldeneye 64 or Perfect Dark. Those games are great but the enemies are very slow, take their time to shoot at you while aiming with long animations. Damage is also realistic so one shot in the head means the enemy is dead, and you never need more than 2 or 3 chest shots to kill them. Plus, those games are best played if you start beating them on easy and then move on to the next difficulty, since each level adds new objectives to every mission.

yea, bullet spongy in Borderlands series is awful sometimes

Are you looking for games on console or PC?

Maybe give Sniper: Ghost Warrior - Contracts 1 and 2 a try. Lots or weapon options, ways to complete missions, and kill cam for long kills. Very underrated games.

Check out any of the Serious Sam games (the Remastered versions of the first few are probably the best starting point). They're specialized in throwing tons of easy, mindless enemies at you. For example:

That said, the games do have some frenetic sections, so you might want to watch a few videos before jumping in.

Try Killzone 2 on Elite.

Easiest shit ever. Wait till you get to the fight before Radec. Cakewalk.

😎
This is cruel. You know what you're doing, buddy. I see you.

arcade style shooter, linear levels, simple-ish enemy ai, unique storytelling.

it's on 360, PS3, PC, Switch and is backwards compatible on Xbox One/Series X|S
I'd recommend the PC version, as the console versions are 30fps.

by getting points you can unlock upgrades like a short slowmotion effect every time you zoon in with a rifle and stuff like that.
and you have a special move that's similar to Red Dead Revolver's/Red Dead Redemption's dead-eye move

And it only costs a couple of bucks on Steam right now

I'm playing through RoboCop: Rogue City right now and I think it meets most of your criteria. Most of the enemies are a cake walk and fodder for these awesome gory head explosions and other dismemberment. You're a tank (duh), so it's not frenetic - you do at lot of standing there, picking off enemies that stand out in the open or pop in and out of cover in a predictable way. Absolutely loving this game by the way, though a good portion of that may be due to being a fan of the source material.

on a similar vein,
if it's ok that it's a bit older, we're talking PS2 and Xbox here,
may I recommend:

you're a riot police officer, you shoot gang members in linear missions.

the gameplay focuses on the use of your riot shield that you can pull out at any time.

there are segments where you go into burning buildings and have to rescue civilians.

and then there are the standoffs against hostage takers, where as soon as they reload everything goes slowmotion and you gotta hit them.
and at the end of all these standoffs the hostage taker will get killed in fun and brutal ways. the first one will blow up in a room full of explosives for examination (all in slowmotion of course)

enemies are mostly canon fodder, as it's a very arcadey feeling game.

you earn medals by fulfilling challenges per mission (amount of headshots, amount of arrests using a taser, arresting a gang boss, finding secret masks), and medals unlock weapon upgrades and new equipment.

there's a neat little trick,
if you rotate your right stick 2 times, your crosshairs will go blue, and the next kill will be shown in a slowmotion close-up shot.
these close-up shots also happen randomly from time to time.

this was the first game ever by Rocksteady
