If you are undecided I would wait to see if the console version manages to keep a solid framerate. Network test dipped even to 45fps on consoles.

If they fix that tho, go console. Same shit with less mad cheaters.

By going gold I guess that means the day one patch will only be 50 gigs.

I've been playing Sekro, and it's reminding me that I might be too shitty of a player to play From games without cheesing certain bosses, which is difficult to do on day one. I'm still buying the game, but I really don't expect to get far without beating my head against a lot of walls.

yeah that's my worry.
Performance mode is close to stable on ps5 but I could still 100% do 4k60 on pc.
But then again - less cheaters, loading, dualsense, 3d audio. There are reasons to go ps5.

I did preordered Forbidden West but will wait last moment for this

Still have cheaters, but it's definitely less lol. All of the previous titles on the ps4 got a post launch performance improvement patch (or patches), so as long as it's not unplayable I have faith From will make the game great on ps5 and xsx at least.

What I hope for this game on current gen consoles is a stable 60FPS in performance mode. I think when Digital Foundry tested an earlier version a few months ago it would, in reality, fluctuate between 45 and 60. I really want to play this on my ps5 of XsX on my LG C1 but I'll settle for the pc version if it can't maintain a steady 60....We shall see!
