The other school of thought that we could take today (I know cabot presented both options already but just reiterating) is that we lynch cabot who is now just an ordinary townie and then we know for sure about Nin going forward, this is the "safe" option where we have low chance of hitting scum but we also won't hit a PR and we will gain information.
i dont like this idea
Why?
ll have to agree with you on that , seeing Sorian pushing for a caboth kill on day one seems retarded in my eyes, we should Focus on other matters that happened beforehand or on Players themselves. Dont get stuck in something that "for now" is not important anymore.
No idea why nin felt it necessary to make a soft claim already. Please don't claim anything unless it is a last resort to avoid lynching, and even then, don't wait until the last 15 minutes.
Looking back through the player list, Kalor is currently the player who has stood out the least to me. Not reading scum, but I'd prefer to have a few more posts to work from.
Vote: Kalor
Actually, he did do something I find scummy. Hid behind RNG on his vote.
11 it is.

It might seem "very reasonable" to you but I think I explained my issue with it. It only prompted me to look through your other posts and a lot of the time I feel like I don't know where you're coming from. It could just be that we have very different play styles or something but I don't remember having this problem reading game 1.
So like I said, I just have an uneasy feeling coming from you. It's not a sure thing but you're standing out to me at the moment.
You feel I'm flying under the radar or keeping to myself?Any reason you didn't include fireblend?
I mean, I offered cabot as a safe solution for the day so that our PRs can feel safe for once and we could absolutely verify something but we all know I'm not usually one for the safe option but the way Nin responded to it left a bad taste in my mouth but I'll refrain from voting for cabot right now because the climate (haha) in here seems to be against that and I'll probably find myself on the receiving end of a policy lynch or something if I bark up that tree. I guess just keep it in the back of your minds because the exchange above does not read as someone who was just cleared to be a good guy to me.

You can still Bark Sorian, I just said I don't like that idea, I won't vote vote you out for thinking out loud if that is what you mean. I understand your reasoning but like I said I don't like it and I prefer to focus on something else for today. You can still bring that up later in the game Nothing wrong with it. But something just left me with a bad taste when you brought that up. It's 7am here and I can taste it 😷😷😷😷😷😷
I KNOW, RIGHT?
I don't see that same thing for you Sorian. Just wanted to throw that out in order for everyone to see that your name has not been cleared honey. 😘😘😘😘
Sure thing. Guess we will have to wait for that one then 😉Ouro saying that means nothing to me until I see a role PM matching the claim. Sorry honey.
Sorry, but Cabot and nin are at the very least 80% town (read: 90% at very least). I appreciate you keeping an eye open and watching, but going after one if the few players we can pretty safely eliminate from being town, vs say an unknown, only hurts town. You're right in that we won't know until Cabot or nin dies, but let's not help the cult out here.Ouro saying that means nothing to me until I see a role PM matching the claim. Sorry honey.
Shoo, shoo!corgi to replace jon stewart immediately as well.
I'm already in the game sillycorgi to replace jon stewart immediately as well.
There we go

In all honesty, 12 hours left and no one is really jumping out at me as a great pick for the day anymore. I will mention the string of posts below:
My why above goes unanswered directly but this post is made an hour or so later:

Anyway, as I said, nothing is really jumping out to me so far, from all the posts I've read since earlier today, I think the ones I resonate most with are the ones for Kingkitty but I'm not even completely sold on those. I'll be around in the morning so this is hardly my final vote but I'd like to offer another view that hasn't been brought up.
VOTE: Palmer_v1
Something has felt off about Palmer this whole game and not just because he came at me (which I also found odd only because it was a very coy "here's a thing Sorian said, do any of you see why it's scummy?" which made sense in retrospect but was also easily answerable by looking at the OP) but because he's focused on weird things early on. I did appreciate that he started off by coming out and saying that he wants everyone to have a vote and that people shouldn't be allowed to skate by without voting but forcing the issue like that this early on does't usually lead to much of anything. Now, I know I know, I'm guilty of pressing people into discussing and tangentially, I'm usually pressing them into voting to but I don't care much about the vote, yes, it can sometimes be helpful to look at the vote spreadsheet later but the reasoning is where the real meat is and Palmer came off that his stance was place a vote and that was that. It felt like contributing to town without actually contributing to town.
Past that though, it's just been little things here and there that seem inconsistent with his reasoning. For example, he places this vote on Kalor and does a quick follow up post with another why:
But then, I have a post on the very first page where I straight up said I was going to put everyone into an RNG and then my follow up:
It reads almost like he wanted to vote for Kalor and then had to find bullshit reasoning for it so we'd believe him (if this were any other day, I'd probably read this as a PR trying to give us a subtle hint) but this is the way all of Palmer's posts have felt to me, just very aloof and not actually in the game, just more doing the motions of what town should do.
Again, I'm really not set in stone on anyone but I think Kingkitty, Palmer, or cabot are my short list for today.
And nin, I believe you're town, and you have gotten better since you were confirmed to be that, but pointing at people who were suspicious of you or calling for you to post more substance doesn't indicate anything, and you've posted mostly that and fluff since then. Having a contributive confirmed town is priceless for us, and you have the opportunity to be exactly that
Huh?! Wtf just happened =|
As I said I most likely won't be here for the end of the day, so...
UNVOTE
I don't want to risk accidentally voting someone out or pressuring them into claiming like Kitty suggested he'd do.
Anyway, it wouldn't make any sense to lynch them today. (I explained why earlier) Let mafia do the work for us. The only reason I could think of why people would want to lynch on of them is to survive D1 themselves. So, wasn't it Sorian who tried to convince us to lynch them right after the bomb dropped? It smells pretty anti town to me.
We have Cabot who could be town or neutral. He used his power simply to save his ass and even though this gave town an advantage it doesn't mean he's off the list yet.
If you believe I'm Ted Cruz, then I don't know how you can possibly believe I could be neutral.
those eyes cannot be those of a scum player
Save my ass? the vote was going to nin for the end of that day, I had no doubt.
I guess this is a fair question. Technically the suggestion to vote Cabot comes from Cabot himself, but then Sorian pushing a slight "I still think he's scum" angle instead of a pure verification vote seems a little weird to me. Note that Sorian is massively drawing attention to himself suggesting this.First, why the hell would you have Cabot on your list at all when he's mostly confirmed town? That's very shortsighted. If you want a safe lynch, go for me. I've already outed myself as not having a power. I'd prefer if we got someone scummy, but better than me than a town power role.
Kind of repeating myself here, but the way you pushed Sorian originally was really weird. It wasn't exactly a blank vote since you implied you had a strong feeling, but refusing to explain it at all... I guess my problem is I just can't understand the logic behind presenting the vote in this way. You say you hate bandwagons but by that logic you'd never justify any vote or suspicion? Again, I don't get the logic, and that roughly is the feeling I've gotten a lot from you this game. Either we're approaching things completely differently or something is up.I have no idea why you are putting words in my mouth about not needing substance behind a vote, though. Why do you think I didn't just vote you until I felt it worth making the argument? That said, even a blank vote is better than no vote. It's also really weird to try and use it again me when you're far more guilty of empty votes.
I'm also not attempting to be coy with my votes. I just hate bandwagons so I'd prefer if people came to their own conclusions. I gave a partial reason and volunteered more info when requested.
Spoiler alert: day 2 discussion will include a lot of talk about "safe non-committal votes". Anyone expecting to skate by is in for a disappointing time.Do you really think scum would pick a random post and try to get a Day 1 lynch from it? We both know they can just skate by with safe non-committal votes. Scum have to be spectacularly bad to draw negative attention Day 1.
Sure. Why is that so hard to believe? If you're town: you know we can't see your role pm right? Like I said, your alignment is only "obvious" to you.Do any of you REALLY think that's me?
I'm hopefully addressing this now, I'll continue to read back and see if anything jumps out.As for Splinter's read of me, there's basically no logic in it to argue against. Gut feelings are fine, but I hope he can produce something more tangible. He mentioned that I'm not playing like I did before, but I haven't been in a game with him yet?
(I over-deleted, sorry)I won't be back before the deadline, and wasn't able to catch up very well on the last two pages. I apologize for that. I'm keeping my vote on Sorian because I'm still not convinced by his explanation of the original issue, and he seems to be acting rather illogically currently. If I do get lynched, remember who started it when I flip. Like I said before, scum have to be pretty bad to get attention D1, but the early game is the best time for them to try and get me wit
Kingkitty, you do realize that Ourobolus is a vocal opponent of RNG, right?

Eh, if it was a weak power before I think it's even weaker now you've explained ithonestly I'm not impressed with my god power.
