witten is a pussy. the fact that any cowboys are on the probowl team is sad. at least they were embarrassed at home in the playoffs. the best part was seeing the dream built up all season long and then torn down in an afternoon by one eli manning :D i loved drinking the bitter tears.... but not as much as i did the next week!

p.s. what happened to all those cowboys fans from earlier in the year?

Exactly.. The only saving grace of this season was seeing Cowboy and Packers fans get as excited as they've been since the mid 90s only to have their hopes and dreams crushed and shitted on in the playoffs.

The Packers are DONE. Favre should go out now because this is the closest to the top he'll ever see. If he comes back next year he will have a season like 05 and throw 30 ints. Their secondary is old and most likely peaked this season. The Cowboys are going to be like the 90s Jaguars(sorry Tam) they'll do good during the regular season for the next few years, only to choke dick in the playoffs. Romo is NOT a big game QB and is easily distracted. I still love TO but I think he will start to regress from this point on.

The Niners however are on the up swing. We WILL make the playoffs next year and we WILL win the NFC west.

Yeah, I've heard that before. Just about a year ago. Or maybe 2.

FMT, Nameless, and the other diehard Niner fans consistently make the worst and also the most entertaining predictions of anyone on NeoGAF. In fact, I am amazed that they are not paid analysts at ESPN.

I do agree that the Cowboys fans disappeared pretty fast after that loss to the Giants. Pretty cowardly as they were talking a lot of shit prior to that.

BULLSHIT! Only the finest reporters for the greatest runningback EVER!!! Shame on you, First Take. Shame on you, ESPN!

Barry has teamed up with Terrell Davis for the Jimmy V Foundation. Man. Awesome.

Well, we don't *HAVE* a coordinator. So I'd rather get one of relatively equal quality to our previous one:p

Don't blame us, we had more than enough talent to make noise this season, but even we couldn't have foreseen the injuries and horrible coaching moves.

This is something we can agree on. Cowboy fans are the most pussy fans in all of sports and most of them are bandwagoners. Everyone and their mother were Cowboys fans during the mid-90s, but once their dynasty faded they all disappeared. They always come back once the Cowpies are making noise and are nowhere to be found once the flounder.

Say what you want about us Niner fans around here, but we're loyal to the fucking core.

GO NINERS!

It wouldn't even be an issue if they didn't talk so much garbage. Oh well.

As an unabashed Cowboy hater, that is what I would say. The only tricky one would be Barber because of the reasons you mentioned. Face it, they were, imo, far and away the best team in the NFC this year. Flozell without the knee problems is a beast and handle Osi like a rag-doll. Davis is good but I think Snee is better. :D

Ryan Grant
Earnest Graham
Brandon Jacobs

I can all see them going to the pro bowl over Barber.

yeah...that's why the cowboys are consistently one of the top 3 popular franchises even when quincy carter or vinny testaverde were the qbs.

btw, the niners have been slowly falling each year.

If you have been around for awhile I think everyone cuts you some slack. No one likes when these newbies start showing up and talking shit out of nowhere though.

I only make on exception to my rule though. No mercy on Pats fans (even though Strangeglove was still around after the Pats got bounced the last two years, but I can't start making exceptions).

Anybody got the list of Cowboy fans that have posted from Week 1 through the Wildcard of the playoffs?

I know half of them have completely disappeared... :)

they're still here, they seamlessly jumped on the patriots bandwagon.

The only one I can argue for in that list is Ryan Grant. (Who, by the way, still has his Giants picture on NFL.com :p)

I forgot about that.

I never really liked the Cowboys, but bandwagon fans annoy me. And doubly so for Pats bandwagon fans.

The Giants are going to win the Superbowl because Strahan needs the money.

In case anyone forgot:

In early 2007, Strahan's ex-wife received $15 million in a divorce settlement, which was more than half his assets

This is the same woman who started the rumor that he was gay. She is also boning pretty much every man in the New York area in front of his kids (who probably have been brainwashed to hate him by now) and he still has to pay like 20 grand in child support. She is basically the female equivalent to Tom Brady.

If there is any justice in the universe then Strahan is going to have 10 sacks in the game and then move into the Playboy mansion. After which he will retire.

Either his attorney was sleeping with her or she drugged him into signing it.

Those are the only two explanations I can come up with.

No one is that stupid.

If are ok with giving away 50% you don't sign a prenup.

Who would actually sign something to give away more?

I repeat, no one is that stupid. Not even Roy Williams.

What a terrible situation for Strahan. I have only seen him in pictures with a white blonde women, is that the bitch?

Media is really desperate this week, grabbing onto this non-story. Seems like Brady was joking around, saying it should have been 45-42 or something.

Thanks go to Peter King.

I buy it. In SI last week, I quoted Archie Manning talking about his youngest son thusly: "He's not the type of guy, never has been, to say much about anything to people on the outside. Maybe it's because he's the youngest, I don't know. Our son Cooper has a 2-year-old son who's not talking yet, and other day [my wife] Olivia said, 'Well, Eli didn't talk 'til he was 3.' ''
Eli proves once and for all that you don't need to be smart to be a big time NFL qb!

This should give a lot of hope to the Philip Rivers and Vince Young's of the world.

Maybe so, but I bet Young was talking before the age of 3!

WTF were Eli's parents thinking when they said that?

I have no idea how this relates, but I just felt like saying that for some reason.

Will this be the year for Art Monk? Damn well better be.

Oh what's that? Dr. Z is an idiot? You don't say?

I then asked Zimmerman about the upcoming Pro Football Hall of Fame selection meeting, which is on the day before the Super Bowl. Zimmerman is one of the selectors, and he recently changed his mind about former Redskins receiver Art Monk, saying that after years of being the most vocal opponent of Monk's enshrinement, he will now vote for Monk. So what changed his mind?

"I figured, just put him the f--- in already," Zimmerman told me. "I'm tired of being the a--hole."

So there you have it. Monk has his best chance yet of getting into the Hall of Fame because one of America's most respected football writers is tired of being an a--hole.

Oh and the latest from Todd Collins: :lol

Dr. Z was saying a few months ago that he was strongly considering Monk now because of his locker room presence. He never thought he was good enough on the field (great, but not Hall of Fame) but after Michael Irvin got in mostly for his leadership, he decided Monk should too.
