Funny session. Began by waging a swift war against the former glorious nation of Pasai and made them into a glorious vassal. They have sooo many Indonesian cores, so hey. They're also colonizing so that's also good (albeit apparently in the wrong direction). Thanks for picking that idea group, Uzzy! Then Portugal decided to randomly declare war for one of my colonies. However, with glorious AI maneuvering, strategy and tactics the super-teched western imperial superpower managed to loose that war quite badly without fighting a single battle. I took War Reparations to heal the wound on my pride though, and I must say Portuguese colonial blood money are nice. Hope the date went well, Jwitjes! <3
Now I just have to deal with some reactionaries that's desperately trying to preserve the old way of life around here. We need those casinos and Burger Kings, yo.

And tbh, the shit that Denmark gained isn't worth very much, Sweden has garbage base tax. It was a crappy session for me in terms of expansion. Need to whoop Austria's ass if I want to truly progress.

Doesn't really suck, but the auto voice adjustment, amongst other things, was a pain, Vent is just simpler, if it ain't broke etc.
But the latency....
Never really had any issues on that front, had similar latency with Mumble i.e. around 20-30 on my wireless.
Also yeah, not the greatest list, lots missing, and a bunch of stuff that shouldn't even be there.

Why are the Imperialism-games never featured on lists like this? They were amazing imo, and pionered quite a few of the mechanics that would rather be used in another great game Victoria which is also not on the list. And where is Colonization??? They got the first spot right though, I will give them that.

The next expansion hasn't even been officially announced yet. Usually there's at least a two month gap between announcement and release, but they're already doing dev diaries, so who knows. You can always start a game now and stay on the current patch even after the new one is released.
Posting these here because I really wanted to share my very fun Germany game with my fellow EU4 gaffers and this seems to be the only active thread.
First, my very sexy looking German borders. I spent most of the game limiting my expansion because I wanted my borders to look nice:
Muscovy in a PU, Hungary is a vassal and the little green state in Italy is my client state.
End results so far as of last night:
Muscovy intergrated and some cleanup of the borders, Hungary is still a vassal (intergrating now) and my Italian client state almost has all of Italy fed to it. Still a lot of cleanup to do in the last ~60 years but I'm basically invincible at this point. 500k troops of my own, full prussian ideas, offensive, defensive, quality & quantity military ideas and my Italienreich has 100k troops of it's own. I'm also pulling in 120 ducats a month from Lubeck even with all my army size.

Get out of here you! Had a hard enough time with the Ottomans and their stupid generals, though it was partly my own fault, fought my initial battles in some unwise locations.
