This is the only thing I'm still salty about other than Yipes getting knocked out. I actually don't really hate Chris and I actually respect his more aggressive Morrigan play now. But Chris G was already super mindfucked when Rubecks was on game point and if Rubecks had actually pulled out that win by just peacing out with Modok on the top of the screen that would have been incredibly delicious.

Outside of the game Champ is an ass and I really dislike him (I don't mind talking shit about how good other players are or not, but don't make it personal). But yesterday he was straight-up playing a completely different game than everyone else. I don't know if it was confirmed, but he supposedly didn't lose a single game all day yesterday and I'd believe it. He's definitely the favorite to win at this point by a pretty big margin.

Different brackets and these guys would've been in top 16 easily. Most of these guys have won something substantial and have placed constantly plus in the case of Zak + Abegen they consistently place in their respective regions. It's not even a question of skill with these players, might as well call Yipes and Clockwork frauds too.

Here are my predictions for today! I would love to see Dieminion win AE, or even Poongko... But I don't think they will.
Sony doesn't sponsor Evo.
The reason everything is on PS3 is because when 360/PS3 first came out - they bought PS3's.
It's basically as simple as that. When you are running that many pools you need a lot of machines and no one trusted 360's not to red ring of death during a tournament. Plus given the variety of games at Evo - at the time the PS3 seemed like a safe bet. Historically Tekken had been a Sony exclusive title so the play station covered a lot of bases.
There is no grand conspiracy or sponsorship or anything like that. Evo needs a lot of game consoles to run the tournament and they bought a lot of PS3's to do so. Would cost a ton to replace them all with 360's.
I remember somewhere Wizard saying for next console generation they are open to whatever is the best for everyone.

no but for reals though, f.champ is gonna go undefeated. and gamerbee is not gonna get past dieminion. die's defense is too strong. and if daigo goes up against poongko then daigo is going to take it, but i think daigo will beat infiltration.
