Yeah, I'm perplexed by how they came to this decision.

Honestly looking at the results of the 2/3 pools, it was not that bad and there were hardly any real "upsets". I think the only thing that was questionable was the Zak Bennet/Moonz pool but both of them made it out even though it would've been slightly different if it was 3/5 (like swapping Zak and Moonz maybe although they are both about the same in the game).

I know this doesn't excuse anything but as far as the larger picture is concerned it's not going to make a big difference in the results.
