Just listen to the stream man. It's clear that audio is fucked, you can hear the crowd chanting and shit when that announcer is trying to get people hyped, and then when he stops talking the audio just cuts out

What I mean by that is that yes, usually commentary isn't piped to the crowd, but for different reasons. It can be balanced, it's just a decision to take.

That's not true at all for stuff like Dota. That's why they put the players in soundproof booths.

I don't have a problem with it for almost every other event. I don't think evo really needs it though with the large crowd it possesses.
