I got stuck into the campaign yesterday, I'm up to 4-4 I think.
Started off a bit underwhelming because fighting those robots isn't as fun, but it picked up pretty quickly. Got a nice gothic horror vibe in a lot of places too.
Funny thing is while I think horde mode is great, when they shoehorn it into the campaign it doesn't really work.

Yeah, the defense parts were really annoying. The fabricator just seems such an underdeveloped piece of gear
I get that those sections are in there to steer people towards a mode they might not otherwise play, but they don't flow well enough.
The game is generally extremely well polished, though I've barely gone into the campaign yet so I can't comment on all of it.
The main character is a bit of a turd. I always feel some tension playing these types of games in campaign because I'm actively rooting against myself. I wish I could control the girl instead.
