Facebook username link thingie in a few

Just a reminder for those who facebook and have clones out there with similar names...

I think I'm just gonna roll with the GAF name. Using my own name seems meh and I'm not about to reinvent myself any other way.

Your facebook name won't change, just your URL. The idea is that you can give out your URL to people you want befriend you.

...ALL TAKEN. That was literally all my options I'd thought about ahead of time, in the order that I wanted them :(

I had to quickly (on the spot) come up with SFJustin, since I live in San Francisco.

Edit: Doubly pissed because JDavis, DavisJ, Davis, and JustinDavis were ALL AVAILABLE, but they got taken in the time it took me to try awesome and excellent.
 
I completely forgot until I saw this thread. I just went with my "initials plus last name" one that I use for other sites. I doubt it'll come in handy often anyway.

Yeah, finding people's profiles when they just tell you their name is a real pain.
You end up looking at 5 different miniscule profile pictures for 5 people with the exact same name, and just hoping that you guess the right one

This will simplify that.

Even if your friend chose the Username Weedlover69 his page will still be listed under John Smith, the only thing that'll change is that of his URL.

Common words (like gamer) and trademarks were already blocked by Facebook....

Oh. Okay. I was fearing the Myspacification of Facebook. I've kinda moved on to Twitter, though, but it like using Facebook as a virtual address book.

Decided to go for a sensible one given how employers are known to check your facebook these days. Not that they'd hire me given how much shit I post on my wall.
 
I don't really like how it has to be at least five characters. Oh well, at least I got my full name.

Don't understand why we need usernames but I claimed my first name. I guess it does make it simpler for people to find me on Facebook.
 
I'd get one of those novelty names, but I didn't want to get the shit bugged out of me with all the nonsense friend requests and whatnot

Once you log in, its on the top. "Choose your username". All it needs is some flashing lights. :P
 
I wanted to have my first name but another person with my name was faster than me.

Oh well, full name here. At least they'll be jealous.
