I'm in the group (if there's even a group) that just doesn't like the whole new class thing at all. I don't like muppet babies x-men, I don't like kevin bacon, I don't like the ridiculous time travel stuff in the second one -- So I'm guessing I won't like this one.

What are Muppet Babies X-Men?
I didn't like Kevin Bacon in First Class because Nazi Shaw took away a huge part of Magneto's motivation.
I grew up reading the comics so ridiculous time travel stuff is like comfort food.
I think it's a film you'll only enjoy if you're already invested in the characters tbh.
It would be surprising if you did like these Xmen movies. Or the old Xmen movies. Or movies in general

Bros I have a beastly PC I just don't like playing games here because I sit here so many hours working. I've accepted this about myself
I also prefer a controller, (despite knowing that the mouse is more accurate) and if I play a controller on PC I'll be at a disadvantage.
Two solid reasons.
Muppet Babies = Young versions of characters you normally think of as older. When I was a kid there was a cartoon called Muppet Babies that was about baby versions of the Muppets (Kermit, Gonzo, Piggy, all of them).
I don't like time travel in stories almost on principle. It's too riddled with impossibilities. I nearly had a fit over game of thrones.
I like X-Men but I feel like it's never really been nailed in movie form. The first two were okay, and as I said I don't care for the MB stuff
I'd go so far as to say X-Men is one of my favorite SH comic properties

Alright, answer me this about the movies:
If I have a pretty good knowledge of the X-Men and Apocalypse and I liked First Class and DoFP, will I be okay with this movie? Will it pull something so far off from the comics that I get angry? Like Origins Wolverine level of out of left field? Is Apocalypse more foreboding than he is in the trailers? Because in the comics and even the cartoon, Apocalypse didn't give me an evil mastermind vibe as much as a "you're fucked, give up, he's too OP" vibe.

I was using it more in a way to scare you from playing on PS4 but I think I can be your couch on PC or PS4 anyway.

Ah okay. I was introduced to X-Men and superheroes in general with X-Men: Evolution so I'm more than okay seeing younger versions of the characters. I think the X-Men property lends itself really, really well to it actually.
I agree that it's never been nailed in movie form and I don't think this movie changes that. I think ultimately the large cast just asks for a show format. There's no way to do justice to the large cast - which is X-Men's strength. And Bryan Singer has never been interested in doing so.
Nowhere near Origins Wolverine. If anything the problem is that the new characters are just kind of glossed over. I thought Apocalypse was more silly than anything but I never really care about villains. But he's the most OP Bryan Singer has ever gone. Singer tends to nerf every character and this movie seems like he's started to see the fun of just going all out.

Villains are fine when they're balanced and well-written. Most of the interesting DC villains are found in Batman's Rogues Gallery, and Marvel turns into a mess at the galactic level when you start getting villains who can manipulate cosmic energy, reality, and time, and you have to wonder "How the hell did you lose?!"
I think Xmen's an allegory for discrimination in general, pretty much. Their humans are so over the top that the Xmen universe makes no sense in comparison to the rest of the Marvel Universe.

Mystique is gay in the comics. It's her girlfriend who takes the shot in Days of Future Past. But nah, we need her to have a forced, unconvincing relationship with Erik.
Umm. He's in a few fights but doesn't do much. (No loss for me; I never liked Angel.)
Villains are necessary but at the end of the day they're at the bottom of my priority list. What was at the top for this movie was how the villain died though.

This is how I feel too (minus the beastly computer). But I sit at my desk working for long periods of time. When I want to relax playing games I don't want to do it by sitting in the same place I've been the past eight hours.
My rig is literally next to my bed so I spend all the day in my bed for most of the part.
I just move my computer to the dining room table to play games.
I didn't know that either, I should read the comics.
No interest personally. No characters that have ever gotten me excited about the Xmen
