I've been a FF fan since I got Final Fantasy II(IV) for my 8th birthday in 92. I would rank VI and VIII as my favorite non Metroid games of all time. I've been a massive FF fangirl for 20+ years.

FFX-2 is legit my favorite FF. The battle system is unsurpassed, sublime.
I played 5 hours of FF13 and just couldn't take it anymore I had to stop.

Crisis Core is my favorite. Granted I didn't really like not having any control over what summons and limit breaks I could do. I beat that final boss on pure luck.

Lightning for one. Especially in XIII. People complain about her being aloof or whatever, but she is cold. She is a military leader, a female military leader and as such her demeanor makes perfect sense and I can super relate to it. In the whole trilogy I love the sisterly relationship and determination between Lighting and Serah.
Also, I love Sazh and his son's relationship. Fang is really cool too. I also LOVE XIII's combat system. The world and art design are fantastic.
I like the mechanics and time traveling in XIII-2. In LR I love how powerful Lightning is and despite that really just wants her sister. I love the ending and Reminiscence Lightning's new life.
socialism doesn't force people to use empathy though. her peers may very well have made the same decision that her gamergate attention was hurting their ability to make family friendly games and collectively forced her out instead of just the few on top
regardless there would need to be government regulation and for people to actually hold individuals responsible

honestly the combat looks closer to what I was hoping FFXIII's would be based on teh trailers.

They didn't really raise them in that arc though even though it was building up to the questions. they just went from making kuvira look simply incredibly effective to off her rocker
weird how the president of the united republic never bothered to propose a democracy or at least some sort of federation. they could easily have justify his support for the monarchy by showing he wanted wu because he could be easily controlled but otherwise it didn't make a ton of sense
it just seemed like they threw away an interesting grey morality situation so the viewers could know who to root for
