first ep. of Darker than Black 2 was just awesome.

Second episode of Sasameki Koto was as boring as the first for me. I don't understand why they are going in this direction. They are just making it boring to watch.

11eyes is mildly interesting.
 
Finally saw Darker than Black, ep 2, with subs.

It was still fun watching it all over again, and washed the bad taste out of my mouth after watching the Dodgers lose. The action scenes are great, and unlike the first season, there's one or two every episode instead of once every five! :lol

Naked Yin saying goodbye... I guess she is dead, huh? When I watched the Raw, I thought she was saying something else... all those years of anime watching and I can't even figure that out.

If episode 3 has another Kazama instantly falls for another cute girl only to be rejected for some reason, I'll probably just drop this show and forget it ever existed. :|

Also, I checked out the first episode of the sequel to Kiddy Grade. It was...not so good. The main character was completely brain dead and annoying. How they thought it was a good idea to go in that direction, I'll never know.
 
The problem with Sasameki Koto is that the comedy stuff comes in the middle of the series. That said, it also turns into typical yuri angst later on, but at the pace they're going, I have to wonder if they'll pull an Aoi Hana ending.

I now agree that Kampfer is shit. But I just can't stop watching. :lol
 
Book of Bantorra episode 3 came out today. I was skeptical about this after the first episode, but it's really shaping up to the be one of, if not THE, best show of Fall 2009. The backstory really drew me in and the portent of things to come got me really interested in watching some more. If they can keep this up, it's going to be a really good series.
 
Blue Literature has been picked up by Anime-Himitsu subs.

Darker than Black keeps
introducing semi-interesting contractors and then immediately killing them off. I hope that means the ones who'll stick around will be really imaginative.

There's no guarantee that
August is actually dead. Look at Hei raising his knife to finish him off, then failing to do so.

I only saw the OP/ED for Kiddy Girl-and and pretty much will write it off. Might try the first two eps (Kiddy Grades first ep was terrible too)

I don't know that episode two is going to be much better, because, more than anything else, it's the personality of the main character that makes the show so bad.
 
I thought Fairy Tail was pretty good...mind you I never read the manga but it seems to be pretty good. The voices don't bother me too much but I find it funny that even I can spot certain VA's....yeah.

don't think I'll keep up with it tho it seemed kinda fast. He meets her, She gets captured, He saves her, she joins him...the whole episode just kinda flashed by... don't know know if I'll follow anything this season I'll check out that show everyone here seems to be all excited for and Blue Literature ( Death Note Guy and Kubo Tite...if not just for the lols why not?)

Then again I'm not hard to please.
 
Is there a way to watch Inuyasha when you're from Canada? Because Inuyasha is apparently hosted by Hulu and you know how it is for Canadians and Hulu -_-.

That's ok, I find Hulu's stream for Inuyasha to be virtually unwatchable. Absolutely miserable quality, like somebody smeared vasoline all over it, and it's not even in the correct aspect ratio.
 
Well, I remember reading that gg had problems with ZZS but they do seem to be covering a lot.

I find it funny that they think Kampfer is shit but are still doing it. I guess the translator on that must like it. :lol
 
Just watched the first thirty seconds of 11eyes, and Jesus, it's Persona the Anime.:lol

And it's absolutely terrible. Ten minutes of my life gone forever.
 
SZS seems to be a pretty tough show, I think a little patience should be afforded to them, well more patience than I usually say should be afforded as I find it rather silly to be mad at anyone doing subbing for free.
 
I need a refresher but, what's shown in the beginning of Kiddy Girl, was that how Kiddy Grade ended? Satelittes doing a bangup job with it animation wise, and I wonder how it'll be in the end since Gonzo doesn't have their mitts on it. I'll stick to it, since I really loved the orginal.

Expect to be waiting a while, I think last I heard they were looking for a replacement translator for that.

At least they're keeping Umineko going.
 
gg does a fine job and as far as I know they've never really dropped anything. Can't believe GAF can fall for their usual trolling so easily :P Anyway, first episode is out, they're calling it trapeze.

We’ll be following the chapter titles set by the English translation of the 1st book in the Irabu Series, In the Pool. Trapeze is the name of the 2nd book in the series, but the anime uses chapters from all 3 books in the series.

I guess the ops in their channel had a change of heart, or were joking? Sorry to get everyone's hopes down like that.
 
Well, Kuuchuu Buranko/Trapeze is the most off-beat anime I've ever seen. Can't wait to see more. Um...not quite sure what else to say, it's sort of left me speechless. :lol

Ugh, I remember when they said they dropped Code Geass, and people were starting to rage, then they put out the sub a day later. Dunno why we fall for it so much.
 
I just really like how people will get mad because they say something will be delayed because they're playing a game or some shit.

As a gamer myself I want people to use some of their personal time to have fun. It's funny because if a group merely says real life issues or some shit, which could mean anything from playing a video game to going to a funeral people are like "that's cool" but if you're honest and are like "I need a break" or "a new game that I like came out and I'm going to play that" people have a hissy fit. Man are subtitles serious business to some people.
 
I think they do it to see how mad people will get over things they're getting for free.

Anyway, watched the first episodes of Kuchu Buranko. Gotta go with GG on this one: It makes Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas look like 5cm Per Second. :lol
 
I totally agree I can wait from anywhere from one to two months before I even remotely ask whats up. Its when you seemingly go on from several months upwards to a year is when you should kindly tell people to stop following your ass.

I know very little about that particular group, but I do know that most fansubbers have the same attitude and do similar trolls. I can't say I blame them; it's probably 99% a result of having a totally unpleasable and ungrateful fanbase that bitches over everything from how the episode is encoded and to whether the team translated some obscure honorific absolutely perfectly.

Kind of like every fanbase with a vocal presence on the internet?

I have Kuchuu Buranko downloaded, but I'm catching up on Umineko. So good, I have no idea why I've ignored it for so long.

Finished episode 5, mindfucked, don't know what's going on, but it feels so good. I'll need to go back and grab all the Higurashi eps as well.
 
The second episode of Darker Than Black 2 was great. They're introducing a lot of interesting characters this season.

Kuuchuu Buranko/Trapeze was so weird, and so good. I really enjoy the mix of animation, CG, and live action.

As for gg, I think they're a great group. Their subs are high quality, and I think they're pretty funny guys when it comes to their announcement antics.
