Aha! Once again my two principal "fandoms" combine in unexpected ways, this time with the announcement of a Death Note musical to premiere in Korea in 2015.

It's written by Frank Wildhorn, one of the worst American musical theatre writers around; he normally specialises in adapting classic novels or moments in literature so this is something of a departure, but the Asian markets love his bombastic melodramatic operettas so this could go down a storm, particularly if they cast it as they usually do with a K-pop idol as Light.

So was Nowi in Fire Emblem Awakening. While I appreciate both characters when they are far away from the harem, putting them in the harem is not mitigated by being a zillion years old.
