Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works - 01
Enjoyed this episode, surprisingly Shirou didn't get on my nerves as much, then again its just the first episode. And here's to hoping from here on out the plot won't be always focused on Shirou's damn house and kitchen.
Anyways highlights of the episode, motha-fucking Kiritsugu flashbacks.
In addition,
Oh and for the OP and ED. Both are good, however I feel like Kalafina's ED is a bit lacking, this is surprising compared to their work in Fate/Zero and Aldnoah.Zero. I could tell in the ED they attempted to do a callback to Fate/Zero's 2nd OP "to the beginning;" I could hear the same/similar lyrics and buildup, but it didn't feel as grandiose. I'll need to listen to the full version.

It was just great how Kiritsugu expressed his mannerisms in that hospital scene, you could tell he is a broken man and this is further elaborated on in his explanations of the reality of the ideal of being a super hero to young Shirou.
In addition,
was of course, the excellent battle animation between Saber and Lancer. Personally I enjoyed the summoning sequence the most, that short but great hype build-up to Saber's appearance was just too good.
