Oh man, dat speech in the middle. Every single thing she said was right and why chuuni shit is plain old shit. It's a bunch of childish fantasies that some people can't grow out of it and take it to the utmost extreme. This show and some others like Chuuni22 try to point it out as cool or interesting but it's really sad and pathetic. Andou's problem isn't so much the Chuuni language but rather he's a condescending prick and Hatoko snapped.He was such an utter asshole this episode that I'm happy he get called out.

Really need to compliment that VA work. Good lord did she put some fucking effort into that speech.

Some rumors were that the show is going to go full action and going by that enemy group shot near the end, I believe it.

Pupipo is the best anime I've seen from 2014. If you haven't seen this yet, spare 45 minutes of your time and watch it, you won't regret it.

He had that shit coming. For all his preaching, he essentially gave up on communicating with her on the topic he cared the most about. It's refreshing to see the hypocrisy called out.

That scene is probably going to be the most memorable thing Inou did when it's all over. Kinda like that episode near the end of Chuu2 S2

Future Diary: Another World

So, this is the live action series based on Future Diary. It's with a new cast of characters, but you'll recognize some of the types. Some have been merged into 1 character and others are original to this show. The main female character is named Yuno, although she's not really like Yuno Gasai.

The plot has also been changed. You got Deus and the Future Diaries, but everything else is quite different. I guess you could describe it as a mix of Future Diary and

. It's not as batshit crazy as the anime series, which was one of the reasons I liked the anime, but it has some of the romantic and sad stuff. There's a completely different twist as well, so even if you've watched the anime it's still worth watching this.

I didn't like it as much as the anime, but it's still pretty good, so 3.5/5 bouncing balls:

Cross Ange 6

In which me meet a "devoted" (read: totally gay) maid that wants to return Ange to her old ways. The highlight of the episode was a flashback meant to show how caring she was as a princess, despite our only other experience with princess-mode Angelise was her being a horrific racist piece of shit that

I should also note the bizarre tonal shift (not sure if I'm using the proper term here) between the first two episodes and the other ones. In those we had horrific racism, rape, attempted rape, molestation, and the very bloody and violent death of a couple of 12 year-olds. Everything since then has been typical anime fare.

It is immensely entertaining and never boring, though. More than I can say for a certain high-budget VN adaptation I'm also watching.

Characters don't actually develop in this series. Instead sudden life-or-death events occur seemingly at random and completely change them. In the span of about an hour

Ange becomes a team player, Salia turns out to not be completely ineffective, and blue-haired girl and red-haired girl are suddenly on Team Ange.

Also there are some important plot things going on apparently, but who cares about that?

While I can't say this was a good episode, it was definitely the "best" one so far, probably because Salia is actually a somewhat likable character in a series filled with terrible ones.

Next episode is a beach episode that probably fits in important plot development here and there to give it a reason to exist.

Such unholy acting TALENT! I vote for Makoto in this case. Because she could probably do a really pure heroine like Snow White well, and, well, talent. I loved the kabuki-esque roll calls the team did on stage, too. Not as much to say about the first episode, other than Makoto is really not too subtle when it comes to probing Seijuro about potentially being Moonlight Mask... Moon Knight. Moonlight Knight. "Do you like white roses and Arabian clothing?" Not the best at hiding your intentions there, but that's what we love. Also, Snow White as presented by the cast of Amagi Brilliant Park.

Is Log Horizon kinda like MMORPG the anime? I really liked the MMORPG aspects of SAO but the super serious storyline was kinda lame. But the recent Caliber arc which was basically just a raid was rather fun to watch. Would I enjoy Log Horizon?

Yeah basically. It adheres to MMO rules pretty much and is much more interesting in that regard than SAO. I would say you would love Log horizon.

Apparently MONACA, a music production studio established by Keiichi kabe of Nier/Drakengard 3 fame is responsible for the music in Yuuki Yuuna.
