Almost nothing out of the ordinary happened. Everyone still had their issues holding over from the last battle, but if you've seen a beach episode of anything, that's exactly what this was. And that's a good thing. It means that the daily life part of the show is as important as the magical girl part. It's an important part of any magical girl series, but it's being emphasized a little more strongly here. I knew when the ending theme started up that there had to be a post-credits stinger, and as expected,

I've read 25 chapters of the manga..not sure how the pacing compares. though given the manga and show are apparently ending together I guess there isn't a ton more to go.
I have been wondering if it will be one or more.
Great show, still hoping we get a second season eventually.

I'm going to have to say I basically disliked this episode for the reasons that most people liked it. Everything was certainly well staged and executed but the general direction things are heading in just isn't that interesting. It feels like we've transitioned away from the interesting tone and feel of the show into your usual superhero-type story. You know, there's always the point in these kinds of stories where things get dark, the protagonist loses his glasses, starts to act tough, speak differently and all the girls are in love with him? The ending to this episode literally featured three girls are pining over the protagonist. The story may well move in an interesting development shortly, but this section of the characters arc just feels so predictable.

One of the better episodes (meaning: not quite as much annoying monologuing). Gonna look forward the performances of Kousei and his two rivals. I have to assume they'll animate these pretty well, too. Not on par with the insane quality of Kousei's and Kaori's duet, but still good.

Just spare me the flashbacks to this awful imagie already. I've already grown sick and tired of this flashback.
The harem stuff aside, the show pretty much had to progress in this manner once the parasites showed how absolutely broken they were.

What a fantastic episode. The concept of Kuchinawa was interesting, and the whole Mugura acting as a sort of telepathic view felt very shamanic (is that even a word).
Nice to see Ginko find a fellow Mushishi and exchanging experiences. Definitely one of my favorites.

Yeah its a great show. Yuusibu is similar but adds more life and hometown to the equation.
Aoi is just way too stressed for how much she is paid. she must truly love her job.
Literally for the love of the craft and to put ramen on the table.

To be fair, it was a superhero-type story since day 1. Shinichi had to grow a great deal to survive, which should have been apparent once Migi instructed him to take part in the fight with A.
Also probably important to note this series is 25 years old. In a way, it was a seinen answer to a lot of the popular shonen fighting series of the 90s while trying to forego some of their tropes but not all of them (especially later on).

I sort of agree with this, although I didn't really dislike the episode. The harem stuff has been building up over the last few episodes, but it's quite silly. I could do without five (?) different girls all wanting Shinichi's dick. The superhero-y stuff has been there since at least the second episode. I don't dislike it, and I'm used to it at this point, but I would have preferred something which focused a lot more on the horror aspects.
I think Parasyte is doing what it attempts to do fairly well, but there is an element to it where I feel like it's not quite what it promised. I'd like to see more gruesome horror and desperate situations, and less of the big heroics.

OP is pretty catchy, I like it. The soundtrack in general is very.. ominous?
The art is incredibly bizarre, I literally opened my mouth in awe when I saw those weird cut in paper models. And when Mami brought out those guns, this is like Bayonetta on crack, this is fucking awesome!
That digimon cat is pretty cute and I can already tell Mami is best girl. Can't wait for more.

Great episode. It switched the main character seamlessly (and actually made Minamori more of an antagonist) and introduced a new character without making everything seem convoluted.

Mecha, with hair. In a real robot show.
Don't get me wrong, this looks awesome and badass.
But what kind of terrorist or any military corporation for that matter looks at the robot they're building and says: "You know what this needs? Beautiful flowing locks of hair. Then it's perfect."
Can't exactly fault them for having good taste in good-looking mecha design, but it seems kind of impratical for military use. :|
Ah well, no point in dwelling on it when Sousuke and Chidori are now stranded and Kurt's probably injured!

This was a good episode. i really liked it .. one could argue that it was more of the same but In my eyes there was a significant upgrade on the threat level and on the level of the "stakes".
I actually like the fact that kamui is actually managing to stay up ahead and that as much as his plan progress , things get more serious and complicated.
The sub plots are also taking a nice shape...so far so good.
