Ookiku Furikabutte: Natsu no Taikai Hen #9

I really like how the writer is handling the relationship between Mihashi and Abe, despite the fact we are 2 season in they still far from having a functional catcher/pitcher relationship. As things are now, they work but it's obvious it will be pretty destructive and damaging on the long run, especially for Mihashi.

Compared to the way most sport manga handle these kind of things the writing is so damn good. Too bad i can't into basketball and i really miss a lot.

Well, that was nice. The festival was really entertaining, the cooking contest was very nice, Chitanda being stupid was nice, the forced drama in manga club, the jealousy between Oreki and Satoshi... And the mystery wasn't half bad.

It wasn't the second coming of Jesus too. It was just okay... I don't understand the high praise outside of the art/animation.

Yeah, I can see that. The show was pretty boring until episode 4~5. Then came 6~11, which were just ok. Then the festival, which were just as good as 4~5.

But overall, this show isn't really that good. Actually, I had more fun watching Nichijou/Lucky Star than watching this. If it was actually a mystery anime, it would be much, much better.

Have you seen Space Brothers? It started in spring but it's still going and it's definitely worth checking out!

None of those have any bearing on whether SW is actually good, though. I guess the best compliment I could give the series is that it isn't as bad as Saki, which bears many similarities. Even so, there's really no reason to waste time on it.

I'd recommend Psycho-Pass and Space Brothers, which is from a couple of seasons ago but is still airing.
