Next episode is still a side quest though. Sinbad shows up in ep7, which will be the start of Balbadd. Based on the ep titles, it looks like once Balbadd starts, they'll be doing about 4 chapters an episode instead of 5-6 chapters an episode. It's still a rather fast pace, so I did some calculations, and interestingly enough, if they do 4-5 chapters an episode from ep7 onwards all the way to ep25... that would be enough to cover not just Balbadd, but also Sindaria, and Zagan.

It's probably just wishful thinking on my part, but it would be cool if they actually ended the first season at the dungeon conqueror's banquet event, leaving it open for another 2-cour season covering another 100 chapters (25 x 4) in a year or so.

Didn't they already say they were ending with Balbadd? It would be nice if we could get more stuff beyond that though.

Haha, Haru is fucking insane. "You have a visitor", (proceeds to JUMP OUT THE FUCKING WINDOW! And the best part was, that shit happens so often that the guy behind the counter gave pretty much negative fucks. Also, "Don't make a peep, or I'll rape you." Goddamn, guy is nuts.

The dude also seems intent on beating the bejesus out of everyone within a 6.327567 mile radius. Even Shizuku at times (and he even backfists her in the nose).

What was with that chicken at the end? That was so fucking random!

Will continue, but will need more time to properly gauge what I've got here.

They said that the focus was on Balbadd and that's the climax they're working towards. I guess it could be open to interpretation whether it means refers to the entire series, or just what they're working on at the moment. I'm just speculating because the numbers don't add up. Of course they could do something stupid like drag it out and then add original filler material or even an original in-between arc. But I think we would all prefer if they didn't do that. -_-

For example, DT, ED and in this episode BL as Beautiful Lover (but can mean Boys Love/r too).

But there's one scene just after that were Hakuei and the other girl are on horses... one of them looks like it's dancing while walking... lol. 11:50~11:54.

EDIT: I don't like the changes in this episode. At all.

The pacing in this will never cease to amaze me. I fuckin love this show. So much ham(on) that I can't help but be hyped up just like the characters. Zeppeli running across the lake had me cracking up.

Speedwagon is as bro as ever. "Quick, use my muscles to heal your arm!". What a badass.

I never noticed before how Bruford almost kind of looks like he could be one of the Pillar Men.

And with that, I have caught up on this past week of anime! Only really took 2 days. Hope the power doesn't go out again.

Darn, I wish the anime had actually been as suspenseful, intense, and dramatic as that shows. Definitely will buy it but not for those three characters. I wish to have heard Array, Izo, and Kirius voice.

Of course, though I guess one missed it when people commented about it on the day the episode came out. Unfortunately need more BL than was given, but I guess its the closest to canon yaoi this season, well not considering

It seems every episode is just potentially mindblowing revelation after another. Stuck between wondering if I like how its done or if I wish for it to stop and wholly work towards reaching some focused conclusion.
The penguindrum plot seems to have been forgotten in sake of exploring just who everyone is, which is alright, but then now instead of saving Himari were now trying to save Kan (who also wasnt biologically their relative). I like how it is Kan focused, but its also really sad and tragic how he and Sho fought, and then Himari is trying to save him and Sho is just there. Surely Sho ought to want to save bought of the others? I hope. He also hasnt had many memorable savior moments like Kan has, sacrificing his body for example

Fate/Zero 4 and 5

This seemed rather more fantastic the second time around. Or rather Gilgamesh involvment seemed way more intense and emotional than I remember it. Lancer as well seemed more into the battle and gave me feelings of wishing we got to see more fights with him.
How odd that while everyone else was concerned with hiding their Noble Phantasms he and Gilgamesh were basically freely using theirs. it makes everyone look way too cautious.

Ack episodes easily have good concepts but then ruined for the pursuit of naked fan service moments.
Trick for the cursed stone was hilarious

Takao Kasuga receives an F on a math test. But he doesn’t even seem to notice because he’s too engrossed in surreptitiously reading Beaudelaire’s The Flowers of Evil. And the day goes downhill from there. In a moment of weakness, he finds and takes home the gym clothes belonging to sweet, pretty Nanako Saeki on whom he has a major crush. Unfortunately for Takao, there’s a witness to the theft: Nakamura, who has a huge chip on her shoulder and a sadistic streak. As the saga unfolds, we see Takao struggling to decide whether to confess or cover up his misdeeds at the same time that he tries to win over the girl of his dreams, and avoid the blackmail attempts of Nakamura, his new BFF.

It depends, if ohtaka herself pens out a original scenario filler then I'm fine with it unless Yoshino fuck that up too.

But your speculation is quite logical too.

I also thought it was pretty weird that Valkyria Chronicles basically did the whole "Final Solution" thing with the Darcsens and how they were used as slaves before being killed. But at least that was using the Holocaust for cheap sentimentality rather than removing the meaning of the Holocaust entirely.

I know that people are already using 9-11 iconography in popular culture now. Whether it's walls full of photographs of missing family members or random firefighters walking into burning buildings, that's just fair game now. Hell, even Spielberg put the Twin Towers in Munich, so it's not like 9-11 is a thing people hold sacred anymore. I just wonder how long it will take before all that iconography loses its connotations and becomes fodder for reference porn at some point.

Like someone makes an anime about moe 747s or something and in one episode, a tsundere 747 decides to slam herself into a building because she's extra mad. I think at that point, I'll have given up on humanity though. Or the world will be in the midst of ending. Either way!

(Speaking of Spielberg, he also decided to stop using "funny Nazis" after The Last Crusade because he figured that was distasteful after, well, making Schindler's List and SPR... so even someone who takes the politics out of WW2 can change his mind later on).
