If I've got time to watch only one of the new anime (the only ones that seem interesting are Psyco-Pass, Btooom and From the New World), which should it be?
I'm inclined towards whichever is most depressing.
So the person who Hakaze trusts thinks she dead and they never explain why he thinks she is dead. Couldn't they let him talk to her? Also how was he able to take down the spear guy so easy when he can't use magic. Yoshino and the lady from the beginning form a secret partnership to help stop the black iron syndrome (which is what Hakaze is trying to do). Mahiro sister isn't really his blood relative and wanted her?
seems like next episode
that Mahiro's sister will end up kissing both of them
The most "depressing" so far seems to be From the New world but even then not really that. nothing overly depressing showing now. Maybe depressingly awful..

Finished FFXIII-2, didn't think it was bad. It was much better than FF13. Serah is cute, I actually liked Noel, and Caius is a sympathetic guy, trying to destroy history and time.
Psycho Pass 1:
Strong atmosphere, and there were some really creepy and tense moments. I felt like some of the blood seemed a bit excessive given the context and setting, but aside from that I thought it was a pretty solid debut. The questions and concepts it explores aren't exactly new ground, but it handled them well, and it's nice to see a story like this in an anime. I'll be interested to see in which direction this series heads.
Khamen Khamen engages in mediation with a guy from one of the criminal groups in space. How does he open it? Tells the dude to kiss his feet which he does. :lol Khamen Khamen just made it even more pesronal for J9 though as he's going after the space based criminal groups after clearing out Earth's.
Co-incidentally, the film's website updated yesterday, but only to announce more cinemas where the film will be shown and some random bonuses you get with tickets.
The film's still scheduled for Spring 2013, but that's about it beyond the news that the film will have an original ending.
Additionally, I'd recommend keeping and eye on Steins;Gate - Epigraph of the Closed Curve (STEINS;GATE 閉時曲線のエピグラフ in case, as some rumors say, it is really related to some specific events that will be present on the movie itself, as well:
The very reliable man Reading Steiner has already translated one of the excerpts present on the dedicated website for the 'drama CD' (http://steinsgate.jp/epigraph/sample/no01.html), as an introduction:
I'm tired of all this incest shit. I really am. Maybe in the beginning it was different or impressive or edgy but now it's so trite and pathetic I'm starting to lose all interest. Every damn show with a sibling relationship seems to have incest or incestuous undertones nowadays. There's no strong sibling relationship without incest, it seems not to exist anymore - no one is ever related (as if that makes it any better) and therefore it means everyone wants to get in their brother/sisters pants.
I don't know anything about the manga, but the show must be doing a good job of avoiding its faults because it delivered on another great episode this week. I'm so happy that BONES might be able to get back to their former glory, this really shows great potential for it. Hopefully it stays that way.
The direction continues to be stellar, while the action scene didn't have the most amazing animation (by BONES standards) it was directed in such a way that you could only marvel at its beauty. Good shit.
I was wondering when there was going to be an episode focused solely on the two of them. Seeing the two go at it in various competitions and carrying their grudge match into the boss fight was fun to watch. I was a little bummed that they didn't create
a new technique when they noticed that they could combine their powers. I was hoping for an epic yuri firestorm to melt away that Super Akanbe in a flash.

It's possible it's not Crunchy's fault on that one - the show was licensed, and available on Crunchy in conjunction with, Sentai Filmworks, right? Sentai may well be the one providing Crunchy materials for the show.
It's like you guys don't get that the whole "Tomat prophet of doom" thing is a joke.
But hey, it's not like this is the first time I've gotten jumped on here for participating in behavior that other people regularly do without complaint, so whatever.
was hardcore. However, I found myself more engaged by the
Tonegawa
match than the
Hyoudou
match. The common
over-confidence = loss
quota (not uncommon for the genre) was again, easily spotted. This fact along with the
final
match and
gamble
made things all the more underwhelming when the actions are revealed afterwards. Overall, the series had much more emotion than that other baseball series I keep comparing it to. I'd say it was almost to a fault, as the show is packed with tears and reactions. I mean for tens of minutes at a time here! I found the main antagonist to be not horrible (in terms of writing), at least I found it interesting how both him and his subordinate credited their
experience and innate talent
on their wins through
cheating
. Anyways, the show was a pretty fun watch. Kaiji's genius and flawed logic put into play kept me watching intently.
I'll definitely give the second season a go sometime.
The second season's first arc is one of the best things ever, partly because it also happens to crank up the Kaiji moe considerably. Incidentally, it's also the only arc I watched as I stopped after the introduction of
the bog
for whatever reason. Maybe I'll correct that once you get caught up!
Why do you think its a bad post? I wasnt calling From the New world awful if thats what youre thinking. To be honest I wouldnt call anything this season that I have seen actually awful.
Btooom was dropped because I wasnt interested in another virtual game world but I dont think its horrible.
Seeing Sae and Hiro as freshman and the hitherto mysterious Misato was sweet, and the segment with the Weeping Woman in the park was amusing. I always prefer the episodes with some variety in their setting and situation to those which primarily focus on the standard crew sitting around a table.
The music played when the principal walked in on Yoshinoya's "teaching" was hilarious. Somehow that relationship remains charming despite its limited range.
